Hallo Adam, it’s the second photo of day 2 I like the most. The twisting branches look so vivid. There are certainly lots of details, but that‘s more interesting than distracting in my perception. Thank you very much!

Beautiful scenery. The reddish/orange color of the trees with the green leaves and white snow is very nice. I like the first photo also, the criss crossing of the trees motif is nice. Candy Store location with these conditions, minus the wind though. :) creative privilege is fun sometimes, I like that. The third image is my favorite. The color contrast and the lines of the trees. Many good photos; chaos is a fun tool at times. Last image is absolutely lovely! Thanks, Adam!!!

welcome to the wind... I also prefer the 1st image with the wider criss-cross... ahhhh the infamous red lens cloth :-) the image at 14:30 definitely is my cup of tea.... you are so lucky to be able to have the green leaves along with the snow... and red bark of course too...

Just spent 10 minutes looking up arbutis trees. Someday I want to come to the west coast and spend a lifetime photographing them. The trunks and branches are striking.

Excellent work Adam as always. The subtlety in your photos is excellent. The photo of the tree at the end does work very well. The layers of separation are soft and gentle and carries your eye right through the photo helping to express the overall beautiful mood. The feeling is instant and held on to me for almost a minute. Contrasts are important but they don't always have to be clear and sharp as you have shown in other videos. The overall balance is quite good. Almost perfect I would say. Perhaps the tree and the the snow could use some dodging and burning in the foreground and something to deaccentuate the bush on the left. I would not touch the colors at all. I actually love the imperfections in the snow. They add to the mood. I imagine with that sensor you could blow that photo way up and it could consume an entire wall.

I really enjoy watching your process of selecting your scenes and shooting them. Your images are beautiful paintings. The arbutus trees do add a nice touch of colour. The snow adds a quiet feeling to the scene. Thank you for sharing your art with us.

Wow! those images of the Arbutus trees are so beautiful! ❤ You are lucky, having all kinds of peculiar trees on that Island.😊 Where I live, it´s only Fir, Beech and Birch. 😒

I like to bring the red and orange out in Madrone trees as well. We are lucky to live in an area with such beautiful trees no matter what name you use.

Love these wide woodland scenes/crops. You're making great use of your Fuji's abundance of pixels. I know it's personal, but I find being able to see more of the surrounding makes it more interesting.

Looks like a pretty great day for heading out. The wind & cold rain doesn't do much for the scene but the snow falling in the later images looked great!

I've learnt to slow down and to really dissect a scene to look for leading lines and also complimentary angles and subjects. And now this. My favourite was the second day last image. I'm hoping for a snow filled gorge with snow pillows on the tops of rocks with turquoise icy water flowing past next. With that winter blue hue to it all. You mention painting in the sponsor. On utube is a watercolour artist (sadly past away now) called Grant Fuller. Canadian I think. An amazing artist that specialised in painting snow covered trees and snow on rocks in rivers. Your snow images remind me of how he constructed a scene. Thank you Adam for sharing your journey with us.
