Kos town looks great. And I have been to Symi island. It's breathtaking. You'll love it. It's as you say with every island uniuqee in their own way. Symi town is gorgeous and unique and also the monastery on the other side of Symi island is great. And PS. Greaaaat video's of Greece. I really loved all of them. You are doing an epic trip on all these different islands. Obviously you're missing gems left and right on every island, but your video's do show alot of the unique beauties per island.

Hi Gab, if you like small islands you might want to visit Zakynthos. The beaches are beautiful and there are caves to boat into. For filming ship wreck beach from above I would recommend you rent a car and drive there so you have time hike up on the cliffs. The island was the most affordable place we visited in Greece for hotels, tours, food and had the best restaurant (Avil Taverna). They have a lot of olive groves and we visited the olive oil press where they tell you the whole process.

Gabriel aren’t you going to visit the Asclepeion of Kos. The ancient healing temple or hospital with thermal baths. I have heard it’s pretty amazing. Have you been on the island of Crete?

Are you going to Crete eventually? If you do you'll have a great time there it's a huge island (the 4th largest in the Med) and you can find super touristy places or villages authentic, untouched by tourism. But you need a whole month to explore the island

If it sucks so badly, why go there? If you're going to promote travel, try to find the good and positive in exotic locations, don't just dismiss as "commercial" and "touristy". Kos is a gorgeous island, and this is a cute little town. Have a drink. Relax. Enjoy!

Hard to pick favorites but Crete, Santorini, Naxos, Paros, Amorgos, Milos are all nice.

what is the deal with the sunbeds do you have to pay for them or can you use them if you order food from the restaurants? interesting video ..not at all like the west coast

It varies, some of them you have to pay for. I saw a sign saying they were only 2.50 euro for the whole day. And some of them said they were free if you eat at the restaurant.

Hiyuh Gabriel. You didn't in your last visit to Santorini show how you can get from the port up to the top of the hill? You took a taxi [bike before]...so am assuming there is no transport at all i.e public buses etc????

There are buses but it's not a very regular schedule, so you might end up waiting for a while. I think I forgot to explain in that video that I'd met up with a couple at the port and split the taxi with them. It was 20 euros but split between three it was only 7 euros each.

You need a camera with an EXTERNAL MIC PORT and an omnidirectional mic so that no matter which way you turn the camera, you get consistently even/good sound. I bought a used Canon t5i. I use a lapel mic for omnidirectional reception and a shotgun mic for forward/side receiving sound.

Apparently the GoPro 7 has better audio. Planning to get it soon. Hopefully it will do a better job.

Why you did not try tenting ? Tent + bicycle is very rewarding in hot countries. One day or two days tent - one day hostel or hotel.

We got a luxury hotel and we are going in August to kos in Porto Bello beach and I’ve been there but not the hotel it’s lovely I recoded you go there

It is a lovely place I’ve been there many times in my life of 16 years the first time I was there I was 10 months old beautiful restaurants and beaches the mountain of Zia and the thermal spring is nice and the nature reserve in the mountain aswell the 3 islands boat trip are good especially with the full face mask where you can see in the water there’s some mini golf near psalidi on the road from kos town me and my family walk from our apartment from psalidi to kos town it takes about 20/25 mins maybe more just depends on how fast you walk there’s a lovely bakery called specials with homemade ice cream and whipped ice cream and cakes which are all fantastic I didn’t get all away to the end but thee restaurant you went to is called jumbo’s really nice and you get big portions I was there when the earthquake happened aswell I didn’t eat for a few days I had a few bites of stuff but I lost my appetite even tho I’m not a one to lose my appetite seen a few weird things on the island when the earthquake happened we went home the next few days after a fighter jet went over us and it was pretty low we thought it was another tremor and I was at a beach one time then 2 chinooks over the sea really low about 20 meters above the sea it was just a practice spotting mission they was there for 10/15 mins then flew off seen so many military personnel there as there is a military base on the island

Hi Gabriel, I see what you mean Kos is like a resort town more for visiting tourists all included package deal. Can you kayak your way over to Turkey or to these neighboring Geek islands? Or are these way to far away?

Well you wouldn't want to kayak to Turkey I don't think because that would be illegal since it's a different country. And although it's not that far there could be currents in the channel so I wouldn't risk it myself. Better to kayak around the island and stay closer to shore. But I'm sure that professional kayakers could kayak that distance no problem. It's a couple of kilometers.

DONT ever try to Kayak from Greece To Turkey, besides its dangerous , you will be in jail in no time because the Turkish coast guard will arrest you and you will stay there for a long time.

@@vforvictory5985 monolithi beach,near Preveza.It s in the Ionian sea in western Greece in the region of Epirus one of the most beautifull region of Greece that combines sea with mountains.From the other side of the sea are the Ionian islands.Epirus is one the most beautifull regions in Grece,a place that mass tourism hasn t reach yet.From Preveza witch is a beatifull old small city all the way up to historic Parga and Igoumenitsa you will find the most amazing beaches.In some of these the pines reach all the way almost to the sea and the water is crystal clear.You will aslo find the second biggest beach in Greece,the one I spoke before and in most of the beaches and villages,even in the touristic ones is very cheap.And if you want in two hours you can be in the most beautifull mountain of Greece,Zagori,Metsovo and Tzoumerka where you find your self in a completly different Greece from the one most tourists know.Check those places out and I hope you get to visit them some day.

Option three: did she think she could not hobble so not worth walking around? Strange to think someone would cancel a holiday due to an ankle!

She couldn't walk around at all, so it wasn't going to be fun for her to be there without being able to do anything. We had reservations at different hotels and it would have been a bog problem for her to change hotels, only to stay there in the room while I catered to her bringing her meals, etc. Not a fun situation for either of us.

I also took a side trip to Marmaris which judging from your comments about touristy places you probably wouldn’t like, try Datça I heard it is way more low key. You definitely need to hop over to Turkey considering the Turkish lira is so weak these days.

No Ionian Islands apart from Corfu? Ithaca, Kefalonia, Zakinthos - gorgeous islands with swimming, high mountains and Pine tress everywhere - very different (forested) to most Cycladic Islands which are beatuful yet barran. All good.
