I was on Paros last year in october and it was great. Nice weather, warm and sunny. The best thing was the fact that all the little beaches are very private at this time. I had a wonderful little beach for me alone on several times on different days. Just one of the best islands offseason. Thank you for the video and all the memories. One of my favorite places in the world. Great job Gab!

The church you visited in the 6th minute is called Panagia Ekatontapiliani ( Holy Mary of 100 gates ) . It is one of the most famous churches all around Greece and it is believed that it was built during the era of Justinian ( 6th Century AD ) . Definitely worth more exploration

Yes, Theofani, I was going to mention it too, supposedly St Helen, the mother of Emperor Constantine vouched to build a church there, on her way to the Holy Land. The oldest parts are much older than Justinian. Emperor Constantine first built a basilica there. The baptistery is well preserved, from the 4th century AD. The site is most likely built on top of a pre-christian religious site. Justinian renovated the church during the 6th century. Further expansions and renovations have taken place since then.

We visited that “Church of 100 doors”a number of years ago. They even unlocked the Adult Baptistry for us to go into. Very glad to have seen this place.

Kind of mind blowing the difference between August and September multiplied by time. I was last there in the end of September 2016 after high season ended and I think my room in the heart of Parikia was like €25/night and there were almost no cars on the road. But also tons of stuff was already shut for winter (which was fine as I wasn't there to party). Love how accurately you explain the August aspect!

i went to paros oct 10-15! Very nice weather. a tad windy a few days i just drove to where it wasn’t windy. car rental. $25 per day. Airbnb over looking water $90 per night for two. seafood for two (whole shrimp, grilled cuttlefish, grilled fish, fried calamari €50 for all) not much ppl in the main towns but it was nice not being bumped.

€80 rental car, €114 Airbnb Rooms,Patties with Fries €18,50 in Paros.I was there some 4 years ago , less than half of these prices in High Season. Thanks for the valuable info . You never want to go in High Season to Greece. You be taken for a ride. These prices drop considerably Middle of October,End of Season . Very nice cooler climate, no tourists and friendly locals.
