Fun fact Demouchets, Lamu is Kenya's oldest continuously inhabited town and one of the original swahili towns along the east African coast. Most of the locals are muslim and a mix of arab and bantu from centuries of interaction and trade between the broader swahili coast with arabs, indians, and persians

@@nunuissa6376 Kenya has not occupied anywhere!! Shameless. You might as well dismantle the whole country called Kenya if we were to go with your idiotic minds. If you are from Somalia stick to Somalia and let the beautiful country called Kenya be! The Kenyan Somalis are not part of your foolishness.

@@Brian-bo4bz We just out of a Civil War but Somalia is moving forward, and yes we have national navy in the progress. Somalis 🇸🇴🇩🇯are waking up and finally building their future, and that future includes all Somalilands back in power to the Somali people. You can hate all you want but it’s the truth.

@@nunuissa6376 you have lost all wars you have fought, been fighting clan wars and Islamic extremism, you lost to Ethiopia, lost shifta war in Kenya, Somaliland wants out, Puntland wants out, if delusional was a person it would be you, what somaliweyn when everyone is trying to leave Somalia, learn integration or be forced into integration as refugees and migrants as has been happening, Dadaab is still full of refugees from Somalia since 1991 whole generations of children born in a camp and you are here running your mouth about somaliweyn, when Kenya wanted to shut down that camp the refugees begged to stay in those conditions than go back to somalia and UNICEF lobbied for them to stay longer, we don't live in the 14th century anymore, your ethnic nationalism is retrogressive and has been the biggest downfall of your country, Djibouti has afar you also want to claim them like you claim Borana and Gabbra oromos in Kenya?

@@nunuissa6376 out of civil war with the help of Amisom and KDF you forget, ungrateful neighbors, we wish you all the best in your building focus on reconciling with Somaliland and Puntland leave other countries alone, so in your grand plan you're going to fight Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti all at once and win?then forcefully make boranas, Gabbra, Afar, Samburu and Turkana submit to a greater somalia, all these groups are very war like communities and are armed, Turkey won't spoil it's foreign relations with Ethiopia and Kenya over somalia, just like the USSR left you on your own when you first went to war with Ethiopia, as I said, drop your retrogressive ethnic nationalism you're not the only ethnicity in Africa we have thousands, you're not even the biggest Cushitic community Oromo is a way bigger nation and they don't make as much noise we share moyale town with Ethiopia and very long border with no problems, learn or perish

Nice video of Lamu. It is a very old and continuous inhabited city in 🇰🇪 kenya. Memories galore. It is a good town to visit.

Lamu is a UNESCO World Heritage center. You are therefore not allowed to even repaint the buildings. That's why he kept saying it has that old rustic look.

No cars allowed, on the island; except 3 for those belonging to government, whom were allowed only a decade ago for practicality. You should expect all 3 to be electric in a few years; they ruin the asthetics honestly 🇰🇪. But you won't notice such nuisances honestly, it's for us locals 🙂
