EXPLORING MILLER BEACH | Decay Devils Ride to Preservation

September 26, 2020 / VLOG NO. 166 - I joined the Decay Devils to Explore Gary’s Miller Beach neighborhood during their "Ride to Preservation," a socially-distanced gathering of other individuals who are excited and interested in local history. Miller Beach is a historic community that is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. It has a lot of history, but also a lot of potential. In this video, we visit some of the major monuments and landscapes that identify the community today.

I heard of this group but the bike ride looks fun. I live in NWI so I know a lot of the bike routes lead to the Lake. Miller is a quirky place. I was at 18th Street Brewery before Mr. Drew opened up another location in Hammond near the Monon Bike route that runs close to the Erie Lackawanna. He still has a place in Miller and you can take the South Shore Train to it. Kinda fun thing actually.
