Exploring Miri, An Amazing City in Borneo

Miri is a city on the western side of Malaysian Borneo, just off the Brunei border.
After a much needed rest, I was reenergised to start exploring. This city was perfect for a backpacker. With a route given to me by the tourist information office, I went out on a full day, going from the indigenous market, through to the World War 2 memorial, then onto the beach., the iconic city hall, the marina and then headed back to the hostel. I was exhausted but happy.
Miri is definitely a place that all backpackers and travellers should come and visit.

No it’s not, it’s something that came with the microphone but it was at the bottom of my backpack. It’s made the sound so much better on my videos!

What a change from the tourist centre you visited in the phillipines that had NO information for you & told you to look online!! Can't help thinking still that ur phillipines trip was a waste of time & money? But hey..lesson learned there😊😂 liking Borneo alot😊

Philippines overall is more expensive for travellers. They only have 5 million visitors per year as opposed to thailand and malaysia the king and queen of tourism
