Mobile was also the first capital of French Louisiana in 1717. The government seat moved to Biloxi in 1720.

Theodore, Tillmans Corner, Saraland, Semmes, and Satsuma all in Mobile County. If I were to move to Mobile. The two cities that I would pick is Saraland and Semmes. Saraland is a fast growing city in Mobile County. But Baldwin County is where it's at on this end of Alabama. From I-10 south in Baldwin County it's where it's at. Fairhope, Daphne, Spanish Fort, Orange Beach, Point Clear, Gulf Shores, Loxley, Foley, and Robertsdale all south of I-10. Bay Minette is the only city that is north in Baldwin County. I enjoyed the tour of Mobile, Alabama.

Wow... kinda looks like a prison, but the large buildings that you're approaching at the end of the road at 10:13... That was my middle school 🤣 Dunbar Magnet School for the creative and performing arts! Good memories.

Dang I was cringing for the first 30 minutes cause y’all would be heading for a nice area and then make a turn to just stay in a bad one😂. You were heading for De Tonti square going down Congress street which has 1800s townhouses. You turned to avoid that and went down St. Louis street which is actually improving. You didn’t go down dauphin street which is the most well built downtown street and is similar to how bourbon is in New Orleans. Then when you first turned down government and instead of continuing you turned down Washington ave. Then you turn on Texas street, but instead of going to where you hit mansions, you turn on marine street and go to oakdale. Then you were heading back to really nice houses along Ann street but turned on Virginia street to go towards more bad areas😂. I was so glad you randomly turned into Leinkauf and found your way to Monterey street and over on the north side of government. If you come back through, dauphin street in downtown is the Main Street, plus it has just massive houses along it in midtown. The north side of the city is bad, the south side is bad. The center part is the best

Mobile was originally the capital of Louisiana. Many oaks were blown down during the Hurricane. What day are you there? you are missing so many the streets that have all the business it crazy. & Oak dale is an old Dilapidated area. You need to go down government . Its crazy how you are missing every street that has anything. Dauphin street. You missed the restaurant & bar scene. historic Oakleigh. Callahans. Why would you not check with locals ?

I honestly can't say much good about this city it use to be a pretty decent place but with 25% poverty rate underfunded schools a weak to norrow job market discrimination in the workplace towards disabled and in schools i give it a DD+ rating I would rather be lite on fire and roll on a sheet of nails then dare live here our put any children in the schools that's how bad this place is and Alabama as a state so if I were you i avoid it like covid 19
