Hello, Thanks for watching . Hither hills was so beautiful. I was ready for the wind, if it were any worse I could have set up a one man tent with better aerodynamics . The best piece of gear is an inexpensive 10x12 tarp. I hate to be stuck in a tent all night when it rains, plus the sound of rain on a tarp is like music to me. Montauk looks like an amazing place. Nice damp set up, with the tent and tarp for shade. Fantastic scenery and views there, John Charles. Thanks for the tour and walk around. We enjoy visiting old cemeteries. So much history there. Beautiful sunset. Your breakfast cooked in the cast iron skillet looked really tasty!

Old cemeteries are cool to explore. Love that beach and water view!! Looks like a decent campground. Firewood is getting crazy, but I haven't seen that price yet! Sheesh!!

I bought two bundles of wood @ $6 each, not too bad Montauk prices are a lot like NYC prices, so I try to take what I need from home , only buying what I have to there, saving a lot of money. Thanks for watching 👍

Hither Hills is such a nice park, and what a beautiful beach. The sunsets & sunrises there are awesome. Looks like you missed the worst of that storm system. I like those Knorr packets - I like the vegi soup one to make spinach dip. And that breakfast sandwich, yum :) A photographer's dream is right, that place is so pretty. See you on the next one! Thanks Debbie, Hither Hills is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island, the camping is great. I'm hoping to book a week in high season next summer, the trailer would be excellent there. I still love primitive camping, not ready to give up the tent yet. I appreciate your comment 👍

Great video, very comprehensive! I hust returned from camping at COOPERSTOWN which I loved but I'm from the boroughs and it was pretty far. Montauk is a reasonable distance. Where have I been all this time. Hiw could I have missed this! It is beautiful there. Loved the beach. I think I missed it in the video...were theee showers? I want to plan my next camping trip there! Thank you❤

I could have pulled the trailer to Montauk, but it was only me this time. I prefer to tent camp especially at the beach. the wind was a challenge but fun all the same. I bought two bundles of wood, at $6 each, not too bad. Montauk prices are a lot like NYC prices. Thanks for watching 👍
