Bless you. Best ITP video. I took preds from Dec 2022 (100mg) for 57 days, then 75mg for 7 days and so on. I developed nasty side effects like Sacral Insufficiency Fracture that put me in a wheelchair for 3 months, steriod cataracts, thigh and upper arm myopathy, weight gain and so on. If my doc had told me the side effects I may not have gone with the massive prednisone. Oh. By the way. It did nothing for the ITP and I'm looking after myself with diet and vitamins. I wish I had found your site sooner. Take care.😊

My sister has Addison's disease and ITP. She takes Cortef for the Addison's, and her doctor told her that Cortef was also the remedy for ITP. Is that true, since it is a glucocorticoid, not hydrocortisone?

Cortef, hydrocortisone, prednisone, etc. are all corticosteroids that can be used in either ITP or Addison’s. Kind of like different fingers on the same hand.

Wow, I couldn't handle 3mg of Melatonin.

Yes, some people are more sensitive than others to it. Plus many melatonin supplements have wayyy more in them than they advertise.
