RICK!!! We have a Twisty Treat right here in New Smyrna Beach!!! It's right as you come off the beach in the Publix parking lot before you get to Norwoods. Thank for visiting our little town. Come back soon!! and next time swing by our vintage Dairy Queen on Dixie Freeway

I just purchased a Hayden home in coastal woods and I'm moving down from NY and I couldn't be more excited!!!! I've been visiting since I'm a boy and my family lives all over DeLand and NSB and port orange 🍊. Sooooo excited!!! I have a 1 and 2 year old little boy and I think it's the perfect place to raise little surfer dudes!!!!!

We go to New Smyrna often. Family has a condo on the beach. The Garlic is a great restaurant. C's waffles is the best breakfast. Dont forget, shark bite capitol of the WORLD. closer to Ponce inlet. There is a twist treat in NSB too.

It is such a strange concept, as a Brit, to see people driving on the beach. Mind blown! 😂

Always great places to visit in Central Florida have makes me homesick. However you could put cheap badges on your Jeep all the places that you go. For instance I do have a Daytona Beach badge on my Jeep since I grew up in my twenties on Daytona and New Smyrna.

I found a great idea you can use your Jeep for what it's actually intended to do. Need to hook up with the Orlando Jeep club and they could take you out near Saint cloud in Holo par on some great runs. It's not too technical and it's more of a fun run than it is a full-blown technical adventure.

One thing Rick that you need to cover if you see soft sand or you get stuck are down your tire so you get traction to get out. I pulled my fair share of tourists out of the sand when I was at New Smyrna Beach.

I know you got the urge to engage four wheel drive however it's good to engage four wheel drive to keep the Jeep running properly.

Rick stop it, but my spare of being a Floridian, still with me even though I am way out here in the middle of the desert in Phoenix. However I do put my Florida tag on the front windshield and I do have Ron Jon surf shop on the back of the Jeep.

Yes , when I lived in Central Florida that was the beach go to get away from The tourist. I agree with Rick once you get driving on the beach you think that's normal commonplace. When I moved South Florida there was no way you could drive on the beach it was blocked off. Absolutely when you get done having fun for the day so it's good to wash off your undercarriage. .

Seeing vehicles drive on the beach is a big eye sore to me and many others that I know who don't come here for that very reason.
