I've only ever been to Cleveland once to watch the Tragically Hip (A famous Canadian band). It's such a great city for music. We didn't go into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame either, I wish I did. Looking forward to your exploring by foot! Cool that A Christmas Story house is there. I didn't know that.

Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎵🎵🎸🎸🎸🍔🍔, This video was absolutely OUTSTANDING! The video footage of Cleveland was awesome. Maybe one day you will visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I have been to Cleveland and also Cuyahoga National Park on my way to Northern Michigan. That waterfall was AMAZING! So Erie is the next stop? Great city and its BEAUTIFUL Presque Isle State Park along Lake Erie. I'm looking forward to next week's video footage👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

Great video, Robert. Great to see Illy in the video, too. Cleveland is a great place to visit, but obviously not on Monday or Tuesday. Haha. Last time when you were in Vermilin you were very near where my daughter lives. Today, you were very near my son. They are a stone's throw from Brandywine Falls. Enjoyed the tour through Cleveland and seeing how nice The Flats look. Lots to see and do in Cleveland.

Even though it seemed like most of Cleveland was closed you did a great job showing us some of the highlights! Loved seeing all of the beautiful architecture. Cuyahoga was so very pretty. Great turnout at the meetup! Glad to see the Forry family was able to make it. Hope you enjoyed your time in Ohio! Next year you need to check out southwest OH 😄

Our last vacation in May included two days at Cuyahoga Valley NP. We enjoyed Brandywine Falls and hiking at The Ledges. We also rented e-bikes and rode along the towpath. It was a beautiful ride. Next time you are in Cleveland, you need to visit the R&R Hall of Fame. Thank you for bringing us along with you.

My grandfather was a big industry player, I don't know how else to describe him. When we visited Cleveland as a child, he had the best house, but the city was an industry dump, say 50 years ago. They invented how to enamel coat steel. Think of your stove, and washing machine. . Sucks that nothing was left for us, but we grew up well-off. Hey, my Mom was Cuban as well! LOL! I'm a Conch!

Hey Robert, happy Sunday. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't make it to the R&R Hall of Fame, but the hike in Cuyahoga National Park was pretty cool. The first thing I thought of when I saw Brandywine Falls was your somewhat less successful hike to the falls(?) in Branson. :-) Happy trails!

In addition to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, greater Cleveland is surrounded by a Metro Park System that goes from East to West around Cuyahoga County. Called the Emerald Necklace it is considered on of the premier park systems in the country. The house that Eliot Ness lived in in Cleveland Heights is nearby just nearby off Coventry road near the Lake View Cemetery.
@calbob7503 жыл бұрын
Just a block away from Lake View was Cleveland’s “Little Italy”. Numerous Italian restaurants and the home of many historical figures from the thirties that Eliot Ness may have encountered in his role as Cleveland Safety Director.

Very interesting from a person that lives in Toledo. I've been to Cleveland for one football game, one seminar and one open heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Come to think of it, my wife and I went there for a 'key to the city', because guest Mayor Dennis Kucinich invited any viewer of the late night Tom Snyder show to stop by and he would give them a key. My wife and I looked at each other and said, "I want a key". We drove there the next day in a snow storm, went to the mayor's office and announced we were there for a key that Mayor Kucinich promised. The office was scrambling to deal with the snow emergency and we sat in there until we got our key. A representative came out and said the mayor was busy but he gave us a signed document that was their 'key to the city'. True story. LOL Continue to make great productions, have fun and always be safe, my friend.

It's funny how you mention that Cleveland feels like a smaller version of Chicago to you. When I was last there, I thought Cleveland felt like a super-sized version of Rochester NY. Watching your videos driving around town and the surrounding area reminds me of when I did the same. It felt just like I was in and near Rochester...If you ever take a trip there (and be sure to check out Letchworth State Park and the Finger Lakes if you do :-) ) I'd be curious to know if you feel the same way.

Another great video. But I’m going to have to call you out on that KOA being the top 5! The place was a mud pit! And I would never go back and wouldn’t recommend it even for an overnight. There was a RV trip/caravan that pulled in when we were there and about every single one said the same thing. A couple RVs got stuck. I couldn’t even walk in the grass from all the standing water. And I can see the standing water at your site which by the date you were there was a week or 2 after we were there. Otherwise great video and a lot to see and do. I wish I had more time when we were there. Hopefully I’ll get back, but it will be at another campground.
