That's what I was going to ask you :) Nice video, would be very helpful for other pilots if you said where you visited & recommend. I'll be flying a flexwing from Poland to Portugal in the new year and am looking for tips for the transit across northern Spain. Any help appreciated.

Wow, that sounds like a great trip! For facilities places like Girona, Reus or Sabadell on the east coast will probably be best, my favorites in general were La Seu and San Sebastian however! Teruel is also a great place to visit as an avgeek - private airport however. I have largely no clue about the PPR requirements anymore - but Spain's online AIP ist among the best I've used so far. Oh and file a flight plan for every flight, it causes lots of chaos when foreign pilots don't do it for VFR flights!

Thanks. Yes I am aware of FPL requirements and generally file pretty much as standard when leaving my local strip. I should have clarified that as an ultralight we have no access to CAS in Spain, so all the biggies are off limits (strange approach, one of only a few countries in Europe to do this, but never mind...). So apart from Teruel, any non-controlled strips you visited / know of and recommend? The facilities I need are mainly MoGas and the possibility to pitch my tent under my wing :)
