3:50 its a very rare chance to get four chicks from one egg 7:55 tip: where ever the snow layers aren't thats where the powdered snow is, as fallen snow can't settle on powdered snow ;) 16:16 that yellow spot is the sun when the sun in the middle its noon when its left it is before noon when at the right its after noon. it also displays night is well replacing the sun with the moon. 20:31 (pause) replace that stone brick block with a stone brick stair facing away from you, the corner cut out will give you the view you're looking for.

Looking really nice! For texturing, I usually require at least two diff blocks (especially walls) that have similar colors. If you plan on doing brick more, maybe try making some splashes of granite to break up the texture and it can also make it look like the bricks are broken a bit, 2nd stage copper works too!

If you want to do a villager trade hall in the future. Don't build it directly into your base put it a little further where chunks are unloaded. Other wise you create lag for yourself. I usually catch them in boats and from there I move them into a different setup to be sorted out. No shame in keeping track with pen and paper where you have been. Later you can set a nether highway system to get fast into the places that can become important as you progress. Your base interior looks exactly how I plan them, plus the labels.

Congrats on 557 subscribers! You've made amazing videos so far, and that chicken egg thing: the four chickens had a 1/256 chance of spawning like that, with a one in eight chance of spawning a chicken from an egg. Really good start to your playthrough!

This is actually a lot of fun to watch! Your voice is perfect for this and you've got good sense of style when building. My only "complaint" is that I'd like to see you talk to us a bit more. When it comes to minecraft videos, I like to hear about what the person plans to do and who they are as a person. Are there any long term goals besides building the village and expanding your building skill set? Will this have any roleplay aspects? It seemed like you hinted at a bit of roleplay in the first video that im a bit excited for. Subscribed btw, keep up the good work 😉

Thank you! I’m definitely working on the talking part. I’m an introvert trying to be an extrovert for my videos lol. My first few videos probably won’t have as much of the storytelling aspect but it will definitely be incorporated soon!!

Hey Abbey, just commenting how I love your lets play series and enjoying the over all progress, just a side note on my part, when ever your are doing miscellaneous task like mining and decoration your base, just do short segment off it, it just gives a more smooth transition on your progress. Another great one! Oh getting 4 chicken out of an egg is pretty rare so congratz on that! Lmao you found shipwrecks just as much as I found ocean monuments around my island in my survival world (no joke, there were like 4 or 5 relatively close together, but then again my world was just weird). Anyways sucks that we didn't see you mining the diamonds but as I said in a response to you mistakes happen so it's forgiven ^^ Anyways I liked the video, and I kinda really needed it cuz rough morning and anxiety and this video really helped :3
