Hope you don't mind me trying out a new style of vid, just felt like experimenting a bit and I'm not sure if I'll do somnething like it again but it was fun either way! I'm back at uni now so I'll have to give that more of my time but honestly I'm not super worried about it, I've plenty of ideas, the workload seems fine and my commute is nowhere near as bad this year so it should balance out fine (: HOWEVER I will admit idk when I'll make a fighting game vid because I switched to a leverless controller and my brain hasn't entirely figured that out yet

Common misconception. Toad Factory is not Toad's Factory, it's the Factory FOR Toad. That's right, every Toad you see is manufactured in that there Mario Kart course.

Fun Fact I used to hold the 3-Lap World Record on Mario Kart Wii's Coconut Mall. I achieved it through sheer brute force. Days upon days of practicing until I finally did it. I didn't keep the record as this was before the Ultra Shortcut was discovered & I didn't play after that. But at some point in time... I was *The Fastest Person In The World* to beat Coconut Mall. And that is cool as Hell. I'm a former World Record holder. Damn, that feels great!

So I touched the sun exactly 3 times in every level with a sun , and then drove backways through rainbow road six times and then I just kinda drove around for a few hours. Then I went to Toad's factory and found the hidden clone lab. This is where lakitu gets a new Wario when the old one breaks a rule or finishes last place in a race.

The upper road is and always has been true to its name: a highway where you get a wonderful view of the moon. I legitimately wonder if there will be any limit to the pleasant off-kilerness of Big Yellow's videos. His/their/her/ *it's* (/your, if you're reading this) most common content is Gen 1 Pokemon videos and analysis of specific fighting game character *designs.* Those are both niche in and of themselves, yet somehow you/they manage to upload videos that are off-kilter even by THAT standard, such as the Melee tier list/Lego building/old Minecraft version streams, the Insanaqauriam video, the Club Penguin Card video, and this, not to mention others. Despite the wide variety, the content never falters in quality (be it in scripting, editing, or thoroughness of the video's topic) and is always relaxing enough that I can fall asleep to it on repeat views. This is why they/you are my favorite KZbinr. Quality, chill, entertaining, and thought provoking content.

Love this content! I can actually explain the weird desert hills red pipe collision, it’s not actually a road but a wall Nintendo placed horizontally. Nintendo probably did it cause they were lazy but going on horizontal walls have interesting effects, most notably clipping through it. It’s actually used in a few ultra shortcuts like coconut mall and dk jungle parkway, this game is weird

Toad's factory isn't even trying to masquerade as a factory, it's hiding as a refinery, as you can see from all the digging equipment and the massive hole of spinning death blades that coincidentally don't have big enough safety rails to prevent an """Accident"""" where someone is pushed in, but *are* big enough to meat OSHA standards. And that accident sure has been raging for a while, it must be dangerous, I'm sure if a worker was careless, someone could die! Not to mention the fact the conveyer lines are just on the ground for anyone to slip on in this universe where banana peels are common items. And they do seem to be digging and filling a lot of holes for a factory that's actually a refinery to not be producing anything... I guess we'll never know what service they sell. It's just such a shame so many people carelessly die by accident there each year.

I can speak with experience from dicking around in Double Dash and Wii that the reason background stuff has collision is so if you fall off/careen off the course that way you don't just go through shit. It's more common for places you can fall to have collision because you do briefly see your character falling and they can land on things on the way down. Used to piss me off because I thought it was unfair to be treated like I fell off course when I clearly landed on a different part of it lol
