I have watched every single episode in this saga from beginning to end. Don’t skip anything, we like hearing the specifics and even some of the drama that occurs too. Lol. All in all keep up the good work this is one of the only channels I am avidly watching

I found your channel recently based on my love of tiny living, and have since been marathoning your eps, and to be honest I'm loving them! I think my fave stuff is your car adventuring, and the beautiful places you set up camp in. It's been a few eps since we've seen your day-in-the-life at your campsite, taking in the beaches or mountains and that's my fave. I also liked a bit back (in Oaxaca I think) where you brought the cam with you as you walked trough the streets, showing all the storefronts and people and it made me feel like I was there! More of those shots please! And just shots of you cooking and spending time in the camper, real life stuff! Anyway thanks for sharing, and it's so good to see Jaggar's eye all better!

I love everything about your videos! I wouldn't mind seeing more Jaeger content but your videos are the most entertaining travel videos I've watched. Love the "previously on..." and "next time on..." Love that you show the good with the bad. Jaeger is the most awesome dog ever...love him! Great editing!!

Chobe Bos I thought I was the only one that thought he was the most awesome dog ever. 😉😆 I'll do my best to start filming him more, but you know that scene where he was just sleeping under the truck? Well that's what this show dog does 90% off the time. 😂

To answer Amie's question at the end, I usually watch the most recent two videos that I haven't seen on weekends while I'm eating breakfast or getting ready to write. No more rhyme or reason than that. I don't skip around, though, because I'm too afraid that I will miss something.

I also watch the entirety of each video; rarely ever skipping over. I think more dialogue is good, not less. I like how you engage Matt; asking what's on his mind, or what ya doing matt. Also; how about an entire episode about how you both decided to do this trip, and add more background of your previous lives back in Hawaii. But so far so good ! I think you're both naturals at it. I don't sense that either of you feel shy, or bashful. It's great you are willing to "take us along" on your journey. Cheers...... say hi to Jagger for me.

We appreciate the feedback. I'll admit we were not so great at filming the driving at the start, but we get way better at it as the travels progress. Once we realized how helpful it is for linking events.
@269adventures7 жыл бұрын
I always watch you from start to finish. But to help you out and give you some ideas. Since your doing over land I think ppl prably want to see adventure, maybe they want non stop adventure, not for sure. But if ppl aren’t watching the end maybe those ppl don’t like long videos. I my self like 15 to 20 min videos as long as it’s just not blah blah talking. If your giving some good info then that’s great. It’s nice to hear about your adventures, I’ve never been to Mexico so nice to learn about it through adventure, cause that’s how I’d like to do a trip through Mexico. Not the traditional tourist fly in an hang out at hotel and shopping, sitting by the pool stuff. So maybe the chatting parts maybe be good idea keep it short or do a little chatting then adventure then chatting then more adventure. You know break it up go back and fourth between chatting clips and adventure clips. I started watching you guys from the start of the build of your truck, that’s what I like best seeing ppl building and customizing their rigs, but you can’t just keep building your rig to do build videos, got to finish and get on the road, I know. So maybe some ppl started watch for the build, cause ppl like getting ideas and tips to do to their rigs but not that interested in the traveling or chatting, I guess. I liked your product review video of your cooler fridge, it’s best to keep those videos kinda short and just keep it focused on the important info and not draw it out just to make a video. I skip them if their to drawn out. But think you guys did a good job on your video. Maybe another idea is at the end of your videos after you do your outro part of the video where your thanking ppl through in a couple quick blooper clips so that keeps ppl watching to the end to see a couple bloopers. For a good example watch the channel Roll with it, their a young couple that’s pretty funny, they do some bloopers at the end, makes for good funny entertaining end. Kinda leaves you wanting more. Ok sorry this kinda getting long lol, but I enjoy your guys videos, I always watch all the way through. So I think you guys are doing a good job. Remember it’s your channel, I know you want ppl to watch so you succeed on KZbin but you also got to do what you like doing and makes you happy, you can’t make everyone happy, if you try then you’ll prably be unhappy then and not enjoy what your doing. Just keep the adventure going. Maybe show some more beach four wheeling and surfing. Not for sure if this helped. Best wishes and safe travels. 👍🏼✌🏻

Wow! Thanks for taking the time RV Cruza. Lots of good thoughts in there. I think we're realizing that we have to stick with our strategy of trying to create videos that we would want to watch and just keep trying to improve our filming and editing to give you guys the best version of that we can. I'm totally with you on watching videos that show me new places through adventurous traveling, so I'll be trying my best to bring you more of that:)
@wlfmachine7 жыл бұрын
My wife and I watch every episode from start to finish whenever you publish a new one. We call it the tragedy together journal because y'all tell it how it really is and don't sugar coat everything. It's a lot of fun seeing you guys adventure together, and we are inspired in our own travels. My one criticism before this last episode would have been to make the intro shorter, but you did that already and it was great. I enjoy the offroad driving and my wife enjoys when y'all are in the little villages, so keep those parts for sure. I like what someone said before... keep doing what you love and capturing that, and your videos will be great. Thanks so much for sharing!
I don't skip anything either except the intro sometimes when I want to hurry up and see what happened next. It does seem like Matt would be spearing more fish. That would help the budget for sure. Then he could hand it to you and say here, cook this fish. I'm hungry and want to drink a beer while I watch you cook. JUST KIDDING. I'm sure you would slap him with that fish. Don't over think the videos they will get cheesy if you do that. Just roll with it - it makes it more real.
@TheTravelingTogetherJournal5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Slim. I am kind of picky about when I spear. It's got to be decent visibility and not too cold. I wish I could just hand amie the fish, but I've got to catch em and fillet them before amie takes over. If they are smaller and we're eating them whole, then I usually cook them too.

I always watch the complete video without skipping. However, I would love to watch more of the truck's performing on the road, if there are any challenges on the road, etc. This would help me, when I start my own overlanding one day, God willing. Nonetheless, your videos are great the way they are.

You need a dramatic cliffhanger ending for each episode. Something potentially life threatening with an element of suspense. Oh, and dramatic music too. That seems to work for the network reality shows ;-)

totally appreciate the quick response! I am curious about your table,awning and what chairs you guys use. THANKS!!!!
@TheTravelingTogetherJournal7 жыл бұрын
ARB awning, and that is next on our list to make a video about, but I would buy it again. Same with table and chairs. I like them both very much. In the description box of every video is a list of products we bought for our trip with an Amazon link. If you do happen to purchase any of those things through our links we will make a small commission on them, but I mostly have them so people can see what they are. Quick response is all about timing. I happen to be trying to upload our next episode, but we are headed back out for 5-6 days to no service land again soon as it's done.

It blows my mind that there exist Mexicans who don't know what salsa is. 🤯
@TheTravelingTogetherJournal3 жыл бұрын
😂 Its a regional dialect thing. On the Baja Peninsula and some other areas they use the word salsa the same way we are used to in the USA, but it technically just means "sauce". So we realized later that when we went into the grocery store and asked for "salsa" they were like "You want sauce? Just, any sauce?"

Empanadas, MUCH more important than green stuff.... Now... you’ve been in Mexico for over a year, and you aren’t making your own home made salsa??? You haven’t learned the secrets (tomatillo/lime/garlic/squishing the seeds and snot out of the tomatoes and throwing that stuff out?)??? What have you been doing with all your time in Mexico if you haven’t been studying the ancient art of salsa making??? I guess you have to go back and start over....
@TheTravelingTogetherJournal6 жыл бұрын
Haha. Amie is actually good at making us salsa, but we don't always want to. She carries around all the ingredients when we are at the beach so she can make us ceviche just incase I go spear a fish. If no fish, then salsa or guacamole time :)
