This video depicts a two day adventure in the Saint Regis Canoe Wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains, New York. The trip contains several portages with my Old Town Pack Canoe, a day trip out to Ochre Pond and a beautiful morning paddle on St. Regis Pond.

Nice video. The ski trail is definitely the way to go if you want to go to Fish pond. Also the river there is paddle able to Ocre. Several down trees and beaver dams though. We subed ya.

Hey there, thanks for producing this great video of your trip. Perfect length, just the right amount of conversation and highlighting the star of the show--the StR. area. Quick question; how much/what percentage of those portages do you think could be handled with a folding 2-wheel cart vice carrying like you did? Thanks! Sean

The first portage from Little Clear Pond to St. Regis Pond is easily cartable. The portages beyond that unfortunatly need to be carried.

@@AdirondackAdventures Yea, it sort of looked that way from the video, but thanks for the clarification.

It's called the "Adirondack Paddlers Map". There is a northern and a southern map. You would want the northern map if you were looking for the St. Regis Canoe Area.
