Pro-tips for Santorini: DEFINITELY rent an ATV! It's so much fun zooming around the island with the wind blowing in your hair, and parking is soooo much easier (cars have more restrictions). The lighthouse on the southern tip of the island is a great spot for sunset (and less crowded than Oia). You can take a boat to the volcano and hike around it, which also gives you great views of Santorini. And for any fellow history buffs out there, Santorini is saturated with ancient ruins. Visit Akrotiri and Ancient Thera to fill your nerdy soul. I didn't get to the wineries, which is a great regret, but there are several and they all come highly recommended. EEK! Santorini is a dream!

Just watched this for the first time right now in July 2020. Excellent Greece series! Was there in 2006. The one thing you guys missed on Santorini are the wineries. Great wine trail with the most fantastic view you would ever have at a winery. Wine tasting on Santorini is worth a return trip! 🍷

One big advise about Santorini. If you drive in Santorini, you must rent a tiny smallest car. Some Santorini roads will make you feel you can go inside and then it turn the road into so much narrow road that you cannot move your car. I went inside to a road which make feel that I can turn in reverse and go back or there is a road in the front but that turn turned so narrow as I went in front that I go stuck inside the road for 40 minutes, my car's side mirror got broken and car got seriously damaged and my motivation of driving got totally ended.Luckily someone came from Coolcar Bilal bhai to rescue me and save me from there. I recommand to take coolcar with the agent Bilal bhai. He will help you anytime you are in trouble.
