That's so sweet! At 8:10 the woman says "Groter stuk doen?" .. "Als het kan wel ja". This translates to "Give a bigger piece?" .. "if it''s possible yes". I think they gave you a bigger piece than usual c: Very kind. Also I really love these video's, gives me as a Dutchie a whole different view of where I live c:

I have to tell you... this one is on the books for one of my all time favorite vlogs you guys have put out. This country astounds me with it's beauty, charm and diversity. That woman at the Gouda farm was incredibly welcoming and warm, and showing you inside the process.. wow. Taking time out of her day to show you around... so kind The windmills were stunning, as is the city, the churches and the never ending fields of green. The only thing missing would be the tulips in the Spring time. Can you _imagine_ how gorgeous that would be? The Netherlands is now tied with my favorite place along with Italy, and that's something I never thought would happen. ❤❤❤

Awesome Nate and Kara, that is why your vlogs are different, you go to ordinary places with ordinary people. There does not need to be a special attractions or a tourist trap but just a piece of the real place.

You guys really know what travelling is. Many times i've heard people say they visited the Netherlands, but then it turns out they've only been to Amsterdam. You guys prove what i've always been telling those people; Amsterdam is in no way a true representation of the Netherlands. Whenever i do a roadtrip through the US, i try to take the small roads instead of the highways and interstates, and it has given me my best experiences over there. Glad you guys did the same, and i'm very happy that you were able to have the same experience over here in the Netherlands. I hate the fact that i only just found your channel, because i'm loving the videos! I'm subbing, and will find you guys on Patreon! :)

This is both interesting and entertaining. I presume that you two, Kera and Nate, are studying or training to be documentary film-makers because, if you plan to just make these doccos and put them on KZbin for ever, you're literally mad! You SHOULD be making these for a living because you both have a beautiful screen-presence and presentation. Your little films are every bit as good as the travel doccos on TV. Thank you both for sharing your experiences in such a beautiful manner.

At 3:31, yes they used to bury people in the churches, but it was very expensive. Also they didn't bury them very deep and you could smell the rotting corpses in the church :-o. That's why we have an expression: "stinkend rijk" or "stinky rich", to say someone is very wealthy, or so rich that they could afford to be buried in church. Subbed because i love your videos, hope you have more amazing trips

I'm going back into your vlogs... we just came back from Kinderdijk. We took a Viking river cruise and toured the windmills. We learned during WW2 that they helped the allies by positioning the blades on the windmills in a certain position to let the allies know that Germans where in the area. Plus, the windmills moved water from one area of the fields to another area of the fields. Plus there was thousands of them in the Netherlands, now there are only 1500 left. The guy on the bridge who kicked you off.. he does the tours. Lol..

Gouda ( pronounce the ou as in ouch, not Goeda. It is also famous from it's candles. I guess there are also factories who show you around as in the cheese factory. Next time visit Alkmaar where man have contests in carying heavy Gouda cheeses, it's a famous festivity and old tradition. And if you really are in love with the lushy green landscape with cows, then you have to visit Friesland. Into horses? Friesland is also very famous from it's beautiful black Friesian horses, it's their homeland but are sold all over the planet. Have fun. 🌞
