In the early 2000s revelations came out about what had been done at a psychiatric hospital in this city. When the hospital was closed and repurposed a plaque and a memorial garden were established at the main building's entrance.

Unless it is airborn, asbestos will not harm you. If it were windy that day or they were all knocking things around causing it to be airborn, a real respirator would be smart. They were fine.

@@worksmarter.notharder.1033 it reminds me of lead paint. if it is covered up, it is ok. but clearly those asbestos wrapped piping isn't covered up. I'm just asking for content long term. Keep safe.
