@@BeauAndBrandy I live in Florida and am avid scuba diver, we see sharks (almost) every dive. During lobster hunting season, lobsters are often found under ledges with a sleeping nurse sharks and an eel. (Eels aren't aggressive but if you get too close, they'll take a finger right off in one bite.) Once during lemon shark aggregation season, a group of lemon sharks herded our dive group into a bait ball. We realized what was happening and were like, "F NO, TIME TO GO!" Hahaha. :) I've only seen a great white a few times, once in Florida and the other times off the west coast and in Hawaii. They're definitely intimidating looking but they didn't bother any of us. Their vision is really bad and I think they prefer beach goers that look like seals from under the water. A bull shark (easily identified by the squarish looking nose) is a different story. Those things are mean and scary AF. They'll bite off your leg just to post it on KZbin! Haha. :) If you ever see one of those, gtfo of there and don't look back.
@BeauAndBrandy6 жыл бұрын
yes.. not looking to get into a bait ball anytime soon or make that EVER! yikes! those damn bull sharks and their youtube vlogs, its such a competition with them, they need all the viewership they can get...so they pull out all the stops. jerks.

Hi Guy's Ant here, FYI the Honda's while a really robust engine suffer from muck in the carburetor bowl, sometimes water condensation. The carb is an aluminium body but the bowl is pressed steel. Which induces moisture after running. The Idle jet gets muck and water sucked up through it which blocks the idle jet. Cure is to remove the bowl, clean it out. Drain it with the drain plug (brass nut on the underside) if your not going to use it for a few weeks. If the idle jet is blocked with muck first try blowing it out with air from a compressor or on board a foot pump. You may need to undo the jet/float valve, with a flat screwdriver. Be careful this is a brass fitting in an aluminum casting and they do bond in. Sometimes they bond so bad a new /recon carb is the only solution. Having said that or Honda lasted 15+ years, with only one carb change. Hope this helps, if you need any help just PM us.. Sail safe. Ant & cid

About the spark plug - have had serious trouble with gapless spark plugs on large engines (150 and 140 HP) in the past, when in warm waters. Apparently the engine lock got too hot and those gapless plugs did not like that. You have a regular spark plug?
@BeauAndBrandy6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jan! Yes we have a normal spark plug. In the end it was more of a carburetor issue. Haven’t had any real issues since!! phew!

The Air Cooled Honda hates being turned off with the button. Apparently they like to have the fuel switch killed and let the motor run dry. Keeps the plug from fouling.
