It's hard to believe that it's been 6 years since I've last been here! I honestly can't wait for the next time that I can go back, as it would be a much more fun learning environment and would contrast differently from the "regular" places that I usually go to. The time consuming is totally worth it. I'm glad you had fun! I can't put a finger to it, but something about seeing all the different types of animals over there is just...somewhat surreal to me, (even though it's a zoo) If memory serves, I remember seeing a lion (or something of that sort) and the polar bears, and being really scared, but also intrigued. Enjoy wherever else you explore! Thank you for the thorough vlog! Really makes me want to go back someday :))

@@Smilo-the-Sabertooth sounds like you and I have some overlapping interests! 2023 is a year of museums for me, and I’m including them in the videos I’m producing. (Many of these are still in-process, so they’re not fully produced just yet.) I’ll be exploring different neighborhoods around the city and checking out museums while there! For example, today I explored Chelsea, and I made the Poster House (a museum dedicated to posters) one of my stops. Have you visited NYC before?

My aunt visited very recently and showed me some pictures that she took when she visited the Natural History museum and it looks so totally awesome!!! I would really love to visit it some day. @@Smilo-the-Sabertooth That museum is on my list too! I always think of the movie “Night at the Museum” when I pass it. Definitely stay tuned for upcoming videos that will have The Met, the Poster House, and a couple other museum-like places, like the Gracie Mansion (the official home of NYC mayors) and the Treasures exhibit in the flagship location of the New York Public Library (a building that is more of a museum in itself)! I’m so excited that I have the opportunity to show you New York because when you make plans to visit, you’ll have a good idea of what kinds of things you want to do. 😊

I love going to the Bronx Zoo. It is great around Christmas time. I even did a video there and I brought my stuffed gorilla with me as well my best friend.

Such a in depth video of the Bronx Zoo!.love it! I wish I could see the dinosaur exhibit but I am not flying in LaGuardia unil November 1st! Loved that you were there 6 hours...I might basically the same that way!I usually stay 6-7 hours at a new zoo that I haven't been to before and 4-5 hours on return visits! The zoo is incredible! I’ve been a handful of times and went most recently a couple weeks ago with my parents. Definitely prepare to have a blast at the zoo and spend the whole day there!

Hi Hava 👋 - I go to the ABQ BioPark zoo twice yearly & it clearly was designed by someone influenced by The Bronx Zoo. I definitely will go this fall when in NYC. Back in the 80's , one of the nicknames of Yankee Stadium 🏟 was " The Bronx Zoo " . That was one inclusive tour you went on & it was magnificent to see all the wonderful animals. I always love seeing Bald Eagles ! So glad they are once again thriving 😊. Thanks Hava ! I'll recommend this to my friends. See Ya ✌️

I’ve never been to the ABQ BioPark Zoo- if you go biannually, it must be something worth seeing! I didn’t know that one of the nicknames in the 80s for Yankee Stadium was “The Bronx Zoo”- wonder where that originated! Anyway, I’m so glad you had fun seeing the zoo through this video! It’s really a fantastic place, so I’m not even sure this comprehensive video can truly do it justice. The birds where definitely among my favorite exhibits. Have fun during your visit!!

Aw yay! It's adorable. Though this video is about the Bronx Zoo, all of the NYC zoos (other than the Staten Island Zoo) are part of the WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society). The Central Park Zoo's Instagram account had a picture of its red panda as the profile picture for quite a while! Have you been to any of the NYC zoos?

I only saw a Snow Leopard and a Tiger, no other big cats (which are my favorite), definitely no Cheetahs. I've lived in NY my whole life and have been there two times that I definitely remember, but other times when I was younger. Sadly I'm basically within walking distance sort of and I haven't been there yet.

Unfortunately it isn’t there permanently- that was the temporary exhibit at the time of my visit. There’s a lot of cool info about dinosaurs at the American Museum of Natural History though!
