I started following All Time Low in 2005 as well as a lot of these others bands mentioned in the video. I love seeing these videos because they’re nostalgic for me but also still relevant because I still listen to these bands 15 years later. I actually saw Amber Pacific at Warped Tour 2005 on the tiniest stage that was literally 6 inches off the ground in a parking lot. My friend and I stood less than a foot away from them and were blown away.

I stumbled upon your channel last week after watching some of your other histories videos and subscribed. By some incredibly strange coincidence, I saw Jack Barakat post this video to his Instagram story today. Super weird timing, but pretty cool. As a diehard All Time Low fan (I think we’re around the same age - I started listening with Put Up Or Shut Up when I was around 12?Weird), I am practically an All Time Low scholar. I used to live for this band. My KZbin profile is still a shot of an ATL concert from like 2011 lmao. I thought there’s no way you’d have anything to share I wouldn’t know or remember but it’d be a fun watch. Man, I was grinning through this whole video. You unlocked some deep memories here. A bunch of stuff I forgot about and even a few tidbits I didn’t know (gang vocals on CIWWAF? Dope!!!) Loved this video. Love your taste. Also, highly impressed by some of what you were able to unearth. Pretty sick how you found some of those old MySpace posts and 03 videos. Anyway, just popping in to say I love what ya do man! :)

I really really enjoy this video! I'm glad that Jack posts it up, it's amazing how far have they come. And I always ask myself the same question, What happened to Alex's voice from The Party scene to Put up or shut up?!?! My theory: in TPS he has a higher voice, so he had to work harder to have a lower voice. By the time that they recording PUOSU, he already went through puberty, so he didn't need to work so hard to have a lower voice...

The crowd was so kind and the band did INCREDIBLE. They played old songs and new songs and my heart was content. Somebody in line even gave my sister and I early entry tickets for free because they somehow ended up getting too many. It was an awesome lineup as well, the wrecks, waterparks, and swmrs all putting on incredible shows (especially the wrecks, that was my second time seeing them live)

(This comment is so much longer than I expected. Ha.) I started listening to them in 2006 and miss those early shows so much 😭 Back when they used to work the line "I don't think you're ready for this jelly, my body's too bootylicious for ya babe," into Running With Lions. This video prompted me to go on my channel and watch my old potato phone videos of an acoustic they did outside a venue back in early 2008 during the Man Whores tour because the show was sold out and tickets could only be bought at the door. Before SWIR came out, they had a pre-release party on AIM (ha) and each member had their own "room" you could join and talk to them on. I saved all the conversations somewhere, wish I could find them. All their away messages also had their emails and cell numbers. It was a trusting, innocent time. And the All Time Low board room. What a time. I recently went through the Wayback Machine to look through some of the threads and I saw a bunch of my comments from like 2007-2010 and the cringe level was high. And fun fact, Six Feet Under The Stars is like the follow up to Coffee Shop Soundtrack, both are about the same girl, maybe even Alex's wife. "Meet me on Thames Street" from 6ft is referring to the Daily Grind cafe on Thames. But I'm sad you didn't mention the 5th "secret member" of the band was Matt Flyzik 😉 He's actually the one screaming in Memories That Fade Like Photographs.

But it's oddly comforting to know All Time Low endured from that era and kept such a stable lineup - I always did think they were a lot stronger than other bands of that time and I'm surprised at how well even their really early songs hold up. I just might give 'So Wrong Its Right' a re-listen later... Also, I'd totally forgotten that A7X were on Hopeless for a while, and were just one drop in the sea of early 00s emo-ish metalcore/Rise-core sounding bands. Crazy to think about that now.

All Time Low was my first real show. It was December 06 at the stone pony, I was 14. They opened for Cobra Starship. From what I remember it was a good show.
