Lucie, u r incredible. Thank you for such a beautiful video. I have visited Pasikudah twice, way back when, n stayed in posh hotel called - Sun n Fun. It was destroyed when there was trouble in the North n Eastern part of SL in the 1980's. Such a gorgeous beach. Ate lovely crabs from Batticaloa. I know u n R are vegans. Thank y for showcasing the beauty of my country with yr drone shots. Very well done. Watching from the SE of the UK in Berkshire, on a very hot day, supposed to hit the high 20's. Now by living here for the last 25 yrs., I cannot stand it when the mercury rises above 21 degrees centigrade. All the very best in yr running adventure. I too was a sportswoman in my day. Now I am 79 yrs., old. Looking forward to seeing yr next video. U r so brave to drive around my crazy country as the drivers do not obsrrve any rules. But, so far u havd really done a good job n so have Ru. ❤ from the Uk.

Before you sing praises of Pasikudah beach, visit Wakarai... there's a beach called Santhiveli. That there is Maldives in Sri Lanka. Not too far from Pasikudah. The rural vibe is still there in Wakarai.

Absolutely! It's so worth it, the freedom is just the best feeling, and easy to go off the beaten path and discover lesser known places that are incredible, and where no one else is visiting!! I highly recommend tuktukrental.com as they will support you along the way, and give guidance and recommendations where ever needed, and it's great to have that peace of mind with your 3 year old in tow 🥰 Enjoy!
