Try hooking up a fly with a little bit of floating oil, and a bobber (optional), the bobber just gives the line a bit of weight to get a good cast. I've caught a good number of fish with that setup.

finally did a proper trip after watching your last camp video, didnt check the weather and got caught in a flash flood driving like 80 out of a OHV highway lol, ended up toasting my front axle seal but fun trip nonetheless
