Love the old European cities like Barcelona, that was an amazing video. For a similar vibe downtown Lisbon has a similar look and feel especially since the 1755 earthquake levelled most of the city the whole place got rebuilt in the madeline gothic look of the time.

The Barcelona Cathedral took 122 years before it was completed so that Cathedral could have take 100 years to complete. Also great little mini tour you made here, I've not been to Spain but would like to go.

Aww hi - I lived in the Gothic quarter in Barcelona for years - I used to go window shopping looking at the trinkets in the shops and plants in the homes and managed to pet many dogs while there. Thanks for posting this, it was nostalgic and made me feel very happy. I love you and Jake's videos.

Loved the Gothic Quarter! Lesson learned. Pack personal care products, under clothes, few outer clothes. Bring money. Buy clothes and stuff you want as there is room in your luggage! There is always room for jewelry! 😉

Did the footage of the cathedral make anyone else cry because I did. I was raised Catholic and the cathedral was just so beautiful with the music I couldn’t help myself. Next time you go to Barcelona, you could put stuffing like scrunched up newspapers in your luggage to take up space, then discard it (responsibly) once in Barcelona so that you have room to buy things to take back home.

Barcelona reminds me soooo much of Edinburgh’s old town. If you’re wanting a gothic adventure come to Edinburgh it’ll blow your mind! Plus like 800 Harry Potter shops and you can see all the graves that inspired Loads of the characters for Harry Potter etc.
