As a landlord myself; these other ones need to understand that you really DO NOT make a profit renting to people by much. I just got a house and we are making a slight profit whilst paying off the mortgage and bills. That specific profit isn’t for myself/ourselves. That “profit” goes towards the house and updating it and repairs etc. ppl rly be trying to rip off ppl thinking it will gain them THOUSANDS n be rich or whatever. N those specific landlords are the ones who own dumps and don’t care about the safety of the tenant.
