You could try spraying the collar with fabric protection spray? It makes it so you cant stain the white. 💙

I've spent years working as a wardrobe technician for theatre. In my experience, the best option if a white collar goes gray is to very carefully apply bleach--if it gets on the black fabric, it'll ruin it, so a bleach pen is easier for something like the collared dress. If the collar goes yellow/beige, then the best way of making it look bright white again is to treat the garment with bluing--a very faint and transparent dye that just cancels out the yellow, like toning bleached hair. As the rest of the dress is black, it won't show on the rest of the garment, so you could just treat the whole thing.

add some vinegar to the wash ;)) vinegar is used to make colour set to fabric after dying. Using it in your washing water secures the colours as well x

for black/white clothes I usually just wash them on a gentle rinse with only a small amount of detergent and cold water if it isn’t that dirty in order to preserve the colour

I personally hand wash with cold water the sapert parrots, I.e- the white part only first then the black part... You could wash in cold on gentle cycle then hang to dry.

Spray and saturate the white collar with Scotchgard water repellent spray. Make sure it's absolutely soaked through and dries thoroughly. It should resist staining much better when it's washed. And you should reapply every few washes. Wash it in cold water.

Add half a cup to a cup (sorry, American lol) of ammonia to your wash. It’ll keep your collars white and get rid of sweat yellowing, but it’s still safe for colors.

DRESS TIPS!!!! Tie the collar up with a hair band, so it's out of the way & hand wash it in the sink!!!! Obviously don't get the collar in the water, wash that either before or after WITH CLEAN WATER!!! But that's worked for me when I've had to do it x

My mum puts the white collars from my black dresses into white socks. Just fold the collar up and put the socks over it and tie it with a hair band 😊 (I hope that makes sense). Loved the video 🖤 xx

So cuuuute! Love this hat you’ve been wearing! For my collared things I fill a big bowl/tub with water and swish a little detergent in, then sit the dress in with the collar popping out, if the collar has makeup stains I spot clean it with a stain stick or even makeup remover wipe

Vest in america can be any material it just refers to any kind of jacket with no sleeves. It can be shaped different it can have different fabrics and textures. Buttons or not. Or even have hoods but vests more often than not are an outer layer accessory rather than a shirt. Late but I thought this would be nice clarification

For my white collars, I use this spray called "Shout" and i drench the collar in it before i wash it with everything else. Not sure if you guys have that where you are, but something like a colour safe bleach spray would probably work!

I feel kinda the same way about killstar. I love their skull bag, and I just was never able to commit to it, and then they came out with the burgundy velvet one and I was like "Oh that's why. I was waiting for this one!" I showed it to my dad and he agrees, it's a cool bag (so i'm probably gonna get it for chrimmus. yaaay) and that pencil case would absolutely be good for makeup brushes and plant music excursions (I sent that video to my best friend by the way and she loved it, called it "V wholesome") i'm not allowed to buy mugs anymore. and I absolutely get the same rush from pretty clothes, but also when they don't fit, i cry, so that's not great. always trust Killstar to never release anything navy when it could be black. The pointy collared dress was def one that made it to my killstar wishlist immediately. I love that bell sleeved crop top but it absolutely would not cover my bra. rip my potential wardrobe. Every time I see stuff like that or with empire waisted stuff like that last dress, i'm like. nope can't do it. because that empire waist will cut directly across the middle of my bust. no bueno. the tartan they brought out, too! I love it all! I'm like in love with the pencil skirt they did in that textile. Like it makes me want to be corp goth so i can wear aaaalllll the pencil skirts. also vest in the US is any sleeveless outerwear, though from what I understand vest, the way you mean it, is used throughout the UK
