I have the Zoom H1 Essential and I’m looking to possibly add the H1 XLR or the H4 Essential for wedding video work. I can’t wait to see more reviews on this. I love the size of this recorder.

What is self noise like compared to the Zoom f3, and is the preamp better than the Zoom F3?

What option is better? H1 XLR or F3 XLR? I am a content creator. I would use it for interviews, podcasts, streamings...

They are both great recorders, it really comes down to the features you need for your applications. For example if you are doing a lot of shoots that require timecode, you may want to consider the F3. If you just need an all-around versatile two channel recorder for all your content creation, the H1 XLR gives you a lot of bang for your buck.

Zoom H1n is the perfect start so small and great quality
