The Chesterfield Mall only closed on Aug 31, 2024 so it wasn't even closed 2 months before it was demolished. So the fact you explored it in between was pretty lucky.

I used to live about 30 minutes from chesterfield mall and spent many many days and tons of hours shopping there. I hated when it closed. Crazy to see what was left behind and to just see it again before it was demolished. I've been following you, Dave, and Josh for a few years now. Thank you for the memories guys! ❤

I've been to Chesterfield Mall many times and its wild to see it abandoned. Cheesecake Factory just closed not too long ago. Loved the food and the cocktails there!

It’s sad that malls are closing. I was born in the 70’s and most of my life was in the height of malls. I would’ve taken the teddy bears as a souvenir of the mall. All they’re going to do is probably get thrown away eventually.

I went to the Grand Opening of the Berkshire Mall in Massachusetts. It was once a thriving shopping hub. Unfortunately over time with the closings of several chains typically found in malls the stores kept disappearing. It is really sad to see the place vacant. Lots of fun shopping experiences with family and friends happened there.

I loved the Chesterfield mall... I use love the amc movie theater on the 3rd floor Christmas movie time for many years when I was in college also I love food court too.. the last time I was there was Aug 2014... how time flies...just WOW...

I used to drive to Berkshire Mall all the time. It’s also a couple hours away from me, but it was a great mall back in the day. I loved going there. So sad that malls are dying out. Target is still there and I heard the mall was bought and going to be turned into senior housing though I think they’ll tear it down and build that

Our shopping mall in Sheffield UK is still going strong. "Meadowhall" It's always packed. People shop there more because the city centre is rubbish. Love these abandoned mall videos you do. I actually have those Macdonlds TY beanie babies that I collected years ago in England. All sealed.! The things we collect, eh!!

Even though i've lived in missouri, my whole life, i've only been to the chesterfield mall two times. Do we have session the last time I was there was probably 10 years ago. They built a new strip outlet called chesterfield commons, and that pretty much killed Chesterfield mall. The apple store and the Cheesecake Factory were the two places I went to when I was there 10 years ago.

@steveronin I live in missouri very close to rolla, I was there 2 years ago with my wife and even then they were deader then a door nail, they brought pickle ball to the table to try and get more people to come so they could save it but it didn't work, the last thing I bought from there was a video game, it was a very beautiful mall at one time! It's very sad it's no longer here, the building itself tho still stands idk when there tearing it down

Chesterfield Mall is still standing for now they only knocked down the Chesterfield Mall sign over the entrance by the cheesecake factory I believe... But the building is still standing as of Nov 26th 2024
