Hip Camp is really cool. I’ve used it a few times now. I’d love to start my own some day.

I used to kayak down there all the time and I've stayed at that same spot! It's a gem!

It definitely is! I was wishing we had brought one with.

Thanks for sharing the information about you homeschooling your kids. I was always a really active, curious kid. I loved learning, but hated sitting in school following silly rules, so I really resonate with the experiential learning that you talked about. My children are 2.5years old and 3 weeks old. My wife and I are planning to quit our jobs, be self employed and homeschool our kids and travel in the next 3 to 5 years. Nice rig! I’d love to see a walk around especially some of the things you’ve done to make it suitable for a family.

Thank you for watching! We try to make learning as fun and as impactful as we possibly can for our children. It means so much more when they get to experience the places first hand like this. We wish you good luck in your future travel endeavors! That’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time, but my profession is not really one that is easily adapted to remote travel. The rig walk around is coming, I’m just not sure when yet. I’d like to do something soon, so keep your eyes out for that. Thanks again for watching!

@@FamilyAdventuresOverlanding I’m actually looking for remote work now so we can possibly get on the road sooner. One good thing about the pandemic has been reassessing the way we work so more companies are now open to it. I look forward to the videos! Thanks!

As a family camper with two kids I love how you included an intentional educational aspect to a trip. Thanks for sharing. Also, did you get rid of the Bedslide? Any thoughts from your perspective on long term use? I’m considering purchasing one for my truck.

Thanks! We try to reinforce the learning aspect in everything we do with our children. The BedSlide is a great product and we really enjoyed having it in the truck. It made getting things out, with the camper shell on, a breeze. You do loose about 4-6” of space from the floor up and it does make for awkward spaces in front of or behind the wheel wells, but they do make baskets/bins that attach to the slide to take care of that. Hope that helps!
