In today’s video, we're exploring the Meross MSL430 Smart Ambient Light, a sleek addition to the smart home gadget lineup. Unlike previous models we’ve discussed, this one has a design I prefer, despite being an older model with different features compared to the newer ones. After a detailed unboxing where we inspect the product and its specifications, I’ll connect the lamp to the native app. We’re also diving into integrating it with Home Assistant using the Meross LAN custom component from HACS, which we've covered in prior videos.

I have the msl420, home assistant and the app has lost access to it yet I can still control it via home kit! Been problematic lately.

I've been having some issues the last week or so with the MSL 450 and it seems to have been around the same time as - and possibly linked to - some Wi-Fi/Internet Instability but reconfiguring it made it all come good again. Generally if anything is acting weird, the first thing I do after rebooting everything is reset and re-pair the accessory.
