At around 43 minutes, something extremely ironic occurs. She's talking about the opening of Genesis 3. She paraphrases what Eve said to the serpent, and she misses a major point when doing so, but then when asked if the serpent is the devil, she literally says: "I don't like adding things". This is exceedingly ironic, and I'll explain why. Provers 30:6 Do not add to His words, lest He prove to you, and you be found a liar. So this is part of Jewish Law, and any addition to the word of God, which means "revelation" in this case, obviously, is to sin against God. It's even a bigger sin to subtract or omit. Genesis 2:16-17 And the Lord God commanded man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat. But of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it, for on the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die." In the story, Adam then names the animals, he falls asleep, God creates Eve, and that's the end of chapter 2. Now there's a jump forward in time, and we continue reading.. Genesis 3:1-3 Now the serpent was cunning, more than all the beasts of the field that the Lord God had made, and it said to the woman, "Did God indeed say, 'You shall not eat of any of the trees of the garden?'" And the woman said to the serpent, "Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. But of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden... Quick pause here, just to highlight the point I'm about to make. So here, the serpent is asking Eve about the commandment God gave to Adam in Genesis 2:17, and now watch what happens.. Genesis 3:3 ..God said, "You shall not eat of it, and you shall not touch it, lest you die.'" This is Eve repeating the commandment from 2:17 to the serpent. Eve hadn't been created yet when God revealed this to Adam, and so somewhere between her creation, and this dialogue, Adam must've informed her of the commandment. We have to assume that Adam informed her correctly. But compare 2:17 with 3:3 and read it carefully: 2:17 you shall not eat of it, for on the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die 3:3 you shall not eat of it, and you shall not touch it, lest you die Eve paraphrases the commandment, and she changes a couple of things. Most are minor and valid, as she changes the initially singular pronoun for the verb to a plural, to include herself, which is fine. She leaves out the part where they'd die on "that day", which is slightly problematic. Whereas 2:17 emphasises "death" by repeating it: mō-wṯ tā-mūṯ, literally meaning: "(a) death [you will surely] die", she says "otherwise we'll die", instead. But most noticeably, she adds that they couldn't touch the fruit, which God most definitely did not say. I have never met a Christian who noticed this. And whenever I ask a Christian; any Christian, about it, they'll just shrug it off and dismiss it; failing to see the significance. The classical Jewish exegetes who commented on this acknowledged it, and they said that this is the first sin any human being ever committed, according to the Bible. What's the sin? Changing the revelation. By adding to the commandment, she came to diminish it; they say. In their exegesis, they add that when Eve said that, the serpent gently pushed her, so that her hand came into contact with the fruit. The serpent had limbs at this point, by the way, according to their explanations. When Eve notices that upon touching the fruit, nothing bad happens, the serpent then seizes that opportunity to further entice her, which then leads to her also consuming the fruit; thinking that nothing bad would happen when eating the fruit, just as nothing bad happened when she touched it. The lesson here is that changing the word of God leads to disobedience, by breaking His commandments. In response to this, some creative Christians told me that perhaps God revealed that part off the page, between the end of chapter 2 and the opening of chapter 3. This is rejected, because.. Genesis 3:11 And He [i.e. God] said, "Who told you that you are naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?" Here, God confirms that "not touching it" wasn't part of the commandment, and so God says "don't eat it" before and after 3:3. Meaning that Eve did in fact add that part herself. What this means, is that Adam and Eve could already commit sinful deeds, even prior to the breaking of God's injunction. I can't stress enough how detrimental this actually is in terms of the Christian concept of "original sin" and the whole doctrine of the cross, because this shows that Adam and Eve had been created, from the beginning, with the inherent potential to eventually or perhaps inevitably commit sinful deeds. So when Christians say that people are "born sinners" because we inherited our sinful human nature from Adam and Eve, then know that there's absolutely no difference between their creation, and ours. But they are never punished, in the story, for having been created with this inherent ability that enabled them to go against God's injunctions. As such, "original sin", as in 'mankind's innate nature that includes the potential to sin, and which necessitates Divine retribution, in and of itself', simply doesn't exist. Nor does God punish every mistake, error or ugly deed committed by mankind, as Eve's naive addition is never punished by God, because He hadn't commanded them yet not to do that. So sinful actions are primarily according to God's legal prescriptions (i.e. commandments). I can name two more sins in chapter 3 that 99,9% of Christians have never noticed, and which God doesn't punish either. People are held accountable for voluntary actions that God has deemed sinful, but we are not punished for the 'crime' of having been created (with this innate natural ability to disobey God, or even to disbelieve in Him). The option to do that isn't a sin that God will throw you in hell for. Another major point is that God also says that the creation of Adam and Eve; He Himself blessed, and this happens before and after chapter 3's events. That means that our created ability to chose between belief and disbelief, and obedience and disobedience, the Bible says is a blessing, and not a curse that necessitates eternal damnation. It's a blessing because the one who believes in God and obeys Him, on his own volition, is better than the angels, who don't have the ability to disbelieve in Him, or to disobey His commandments. The whole narrative in Genesis should be a major thorn in the side of any sound-minded, sincere Christian, as it contradicts several of their major doctrinal beliefs. Assalaamu aleikum.

xaeed , interesting read thanks. You say "But most noticeably, she adds that they couldn't touch the fruit, which God most definitely did not say. " I am thinking (since in the Quran God said wa la taqrabaa hathyhi ashajarah" do not come near the tree!! ... so Since Torah was transmited orally for over a 1000 years, they may have made some mistake in the wording.." I know your main argument is that the concept of original sin was not correct because Eve, according to the bible (not Quran) changed he word of God which is a prior sin to eating right ? is that what you meant with your comment? if so, I find that Prodigal son story (why Jesus taught that, unless to show that God can forgive without blood), and the tax collector story, the Ezekiel no father shall be responsible of the sin of the son nor the son... y, are stronger (though your Eve example too but require a lot of explanation and not from Jesus which Christian puts more weigh to), but did I miss other point (other than Eve changed word of god, without being punished and that her sin was prior to eating from the truee?)
@XaeeD Жыл бұрын
@@sutil5078 Yeah the point is that the concept of "original sin" really means that our innate human nature is inherently blemished, because Adam and Eve ate the forbidden's tree fruit. Human beings, after the incident, are all born as sinners, even though babies haven't committed any sinful actions yet. The 'sin' lies within their very nature. It's the potential to commit sin. Basically, a Christian equivalent of the fitrah, but instead of man's nature starting off in a neutral setting, they say that this very human nature necessitates divine retribution, which is nonsense, of course. If they redefine it, and reject that interpretation, then they need to stop using the term "born sinners", as that would be a misnomer. In Dante Alighieri's "La divina commedia", unbaptized babies go to limbo if they pass away early, which is a place where they're removed from God's presence. Many Catholics wouldn't allow parents to bury their dead infants in (Christian) cemeteries if they weren't baptized. So babies, according to Christians, historically, were tainted by this innate sinful (human) nature, which is punishable (by God), and which we all inherited from Adam and Eve. But they acquired it. Most Christians don't say that Adam and Eve were created with that same (sinful) nature. They acquire it after the eating of the fruit. This is an erroneous belief, however, and the fact that Eve changes God's words (i.e. changing revelation), which is in fact considered a sinful act, according to the Bible itself, shows that Adam and Eve were both created with the exact same (human) nature that contained within it the potential to commit sinful actions. The potential to sin, however, is never what's punished in the story. There's no logic in claiming that we are born sinners who need the death and resurrection of an incarnated deity to cleanse our very nature in order not to be thrown in hellfire, when Adam and Eve were created with the exact same nature, but are never punished for it. I'm very specifically and intentionally only looking at the Bible, in this case. I don't have to believe in the details in order to extract an argument. Whether it's true or not isn't very relevant to me, in this case. It's just that it's relevant to Christians, as they have to take it seriously, which, tbh, in most cases: they don't. Whenever I bring this up, they just dismiss it, and often times refuse to reply to it. Just recently, I discussed this with an American reverend, and he (of course) wasn't aware of this, but his response basically was to stick his head in the ground and pretend he hadn't heard it; telling me that I lacked the Holy Spirit. I agree that this approach might be a bit complicated for most, and there are more efficient ways of dealing with some of their erroneous beliefs, but I also think that because this is such a novel argument; I can't just keep it to myself, and I feel like I should share it with others; especially pertaining to this video, where the topic is being discussed (but the nuances and implications are ignored).

@@XCS8000 💥 Dear Christians, let's explain *TRINITY* one more time! You say that The Father is God, The Son is God, The Holy Spirit is God, but they are not three gods but one God. Such a statement lacks all kind of logic, sadly. I'll give a small example just to shed some light over your statement. My name, for example, is Shady. I have, for example, 3 parts that makes me. These parts are, *My Soul, My Heart, My blood.* Now notice how can we solve that nightmarish confusion that's hunting the Christians all over the world. Simply, *MY SOUL BY ITSELF IS NOT SHADY, MY HEART BY ITSELF IS NOT SHADY AND MY BLOOD BY ITSELF IS NOT SHADY!* The 3 parts makes Shady, but *NONE OF THEM ON ITS OWN MAKES SHADY!* Makes sense? If I dared to say that I'm Shady, my soul is Shady, my heart is Shady and my blood is Shady, *THEN WE HAVE 4 SHADY!* Makes sense again? You've got two issues that you'll need to face whether you chose to make them 1 God or 3 gods. 👉 If you said the 3 are forming one God, which is what you say when you wanna switch the table to abide by the 10 Commandments, *then your 3 gods simply died on the cross* since the 3 are one. Looking at the example I gave above, I can't live without my heart or blood, in the absence of any of these parts I'm done and totaled. The universe maintained itself in the absence of your God? How can that happen when everything relies on His Existence? How to be God and die at the same time, and who gave him his life back? 👉 And if you said they are 3 gods then you are shooting your own leg *contradicting the 10 Commandments* that there is only ONE God. 💥 *Now YOU KNOW WHY DO THEY TEACH YOU IN CHURCHES THAT THE FATHER IS GOD, THE SON IS GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD, BUT THEY ARE NOT 3 GODS BUT ONE GOD!* So they would avoid breaking the 10 Commandments and tell you "Hey, notice that we are worshiping only One God, we are cute", and if you are smart enough to detect that if the 3 makes one god *THEN YOUR ONLY ONE GOD DIED ON THE CROSS,* they will tell you "Hey, they are 3 gods" and the loop would continue and it will never end! 👉👉 This is simply called digging your own grave on both sides, left you fall, right you fall, but you try to act smart walking in the middle which is against the rules. Remember, stick to a corner my friend and stop running in the ring from one side to the other whenever it suits you, this is hide and seek, not boxing :).

There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 *And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:* 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. 34 *And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God.* And no man after that durst ask him any question.

@@XCS8000 💥💥 Dear Christians. Three possibilities below that cannot have a fourth! Please let us know which possibility your Trinity is :). 👉 1- Your God is one God, one god/person/entity with a mask, he changes between 3 characters via a mask, but nonetheless, he is still a mere OnePerson/OneGod regardless of the mask. 👉 2- Your God is a modular Lego, consists of 3 parts that NONE OF THESE PARTS ON ITS OWN IS A GOD, *ONLY* when the 3 parts are joined together they form one God. 👉 3- Your God consists of 3 Gods, each one God is a God on his own. When the 3 Gods are joined together they form a one bigger or same God.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is closer to Jesus than anyone else. Prophet Mohammad said, “I am the closest of the people to Jesus the son of Mary in this life and in the Hereafter.” It was said, “How is that, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “The prophets are like brothers from one father with different mothers. They have one religion and there was no other prophet between us.” Sahih Muslim 2365

He doesn't need to come down to Earth to make himself look like a clown and get tortured and die a discraceful pathetic death by his own creation. Qur'an 39:53. There are two types of "هداية-Hedayah" in Islam and in general, and the definition of Hedayah/Guidance is "الدلالة على الطريق-Indicating The Correct Path". 💥 1- "Path Indication-دلالة إشارة". Through Prophets and Messengers with Authentic Revelations. Allah SWT Guided Thamud and even Pharaoh, however, they didn't want the guidance. Allah SWT Says in The Noble Qur'an: 👉 *Chapter 41 Explained in detail As to the Thamud, *We gave them Guidance, but they preferred blindness (of heart) to Guidance:* so the stunning Punishment of humiliation seized them, because of what they had earned. 👉 *Chapter 72 The Jinn سورة الجن - Al-Jinn: Verse 13* وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا الْهُدَىٰ آمَنَّا بِهِ ۖ فَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِرَبِّهِ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا 'And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice. It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness. Those who turn back as apostates after Guidance was clearly shown to them,- the Evil One has instigated them and busied them up with false hopes. He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 💥 2- "Aid Connotation-دلالة معونة". This is the second type of Guidance that comes only after accepting the first guidance mentioned above (the Prophet/Messenger with the Authentic Revelations that he came with and possibly also the Miracles and Support from Allah SWT). However, nobody can reach this level bypassing the first Guidance. This level is where Salah/Prayers, Seyam/Fasting become so easy and the person start elevating in the Iman and Belief. Allah SWT Says about this type of Guidance: 👉 *Chapter 47 Muhammad But to those who receive Guidance, He increased them in Guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil). It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one, whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance. 👉 *Chapter 20 Taha سورة طه - Taha: Verse 82* وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَىٰ "But, without doubt, I am (also) He that forgives again and again, to those who repent, believe, and do right, who,- in fine, *are ready to receive true guidance."* 💥💥💥 There is no single person upon this earth that Allah SWT Didn't Guide through the first Guidance, the second Guidance comes only to those who didn't act haughty. SubhanAllah, the two verses may appear that they are in contradiction for a person who lacks the knowledge, but libraries wouldn't even fit to explain this topic in details. AllahuAkbar! And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Quran) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; *and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way,-* 👉 *Chapter 28 The Story It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one, whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.

But now deliver us from the hands of our enemies, and we will serve you.’ 👉 *1 Kings **11:33* I will do this because they have forsaken me and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Molek the god of the Ammonites, and have not walked in obedience to me, nor done what is right in my eyes, nor kept my decrees and laws as David, Solomon’s father, did. 👉 *2 Kings **22:17* Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all the idols their hands have made, my anger will burn against this place and will not be quenched.’ 👉 *1 Chronicles 28:9* “And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. 👉 *2 Chronicles 15:2* He went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. 👉 *2 Chronicles **24:20* Then the Spirit of God came on Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. Because you have forsaken the Lord, he has forsaken you.’” 👉 *2 Chronicles **24:24* Although the Aramean army had come with only a few men, the Lord delivered into their hands a much larger army. Muslims worship nothing except God and Muhammad is his Messenger. There is no any mystery and secret in it. The law of the Qur’an will prevail in the world because it agrees with reason and wisdom.
