i work in pest control and this is my main area, i love it now that all the summer ny ,ct, ma, and nj people have gone home for the season, and the traffic has died down. such a nice area to work.

Nice! It's a beautiful area, but you're right about the people. We much prefer to visit after Labor Day or in March-April when all the tourists haven't shown up yet, even though we're technically tourists when we visit. Haha. Actually, it's a pretty area to visit any time of the year, but it's definitely hard to get around in the summer.

I'm a UPS driver in Narragansett. Seen every inch of it. Being able to deliver to every address, I see what most can't. I have some old photos I wish I could share, showing how most of old point Judith rd as all farmland with Aunt Carries in the background circle 1933 and Kenyon farm with Great Island in the background w just one farmhouse on it.

We've been visiting the area for the last 20 years, and even in that "relatively short" amount of time so much has changed. You're lucky you get to see such beauty every day! It's always great to see old photos compared to the present. Makes me think it would have been cool to live "back then."

We've been there off-season, but it was $25 to get in when we were there because they charge for parking and beach admittance. But, I like your idea that we have to come back!

Thank you for showing our beautiful Narragansett. I live about 25 minutes from there and it is one of my favorite spots. FYI the houses across the water from Galilee are in Jerusalem. 😂

CT, where we live is nice, but RI offers so much for being so small. I never realized the names of the towns until I saw them in writing when you mentioned them. It's almost like we're in Israel.

No. It's a Coast Guard station, so the lighthouse the area is gated.

Hi Nora. It's interesting because the area hasn't really changed that much. There's some condos near the Narragansett town beach, and some stores have come and gone, but other than that, I think it's stayed the same for the past 20 years.
