2852 is one of the most disturbing entries I’ve encountered. I was very excited for this follow up to 3004. This channel does an excellent job of providing a summarized view of how SCPs come together. I found 2852 from the Volgun channel and was unacquainted with 3004. I think the big problem is people think it’s an all or nothing game. You can be successful and be a Christian. You can be wealthy and be a Christian. True story: my whole family (me and my husband, my sister, and her hubby and kid, and my parents) moved from CA to AZ. We'd never seen or heard cicadas before, and my mother was the last one to move. My dad, sister and I went to AZ, thought there was something wrong with my dad's truck, but it was just the cicadas being so loud, they were drowning out a super sized diesel pickup... Well, we couldn't let this go to waste, so when my mother came out a couple days later... We denied hearing anything, while she went nuts with the sound... My theory is that project Sightsee could potentially stop the cicada god, but it would require quite a few sacrifices to do so. If they allowed it to read and sense more minds, it could potentially develop and understanding to our world. However, due to the limited "reception", it would take many tries until it could perceive a more complete picture of our life. Think of it as editing together a movie from repeated live recordings from a faulty channel. Filled with fleeting obscured images and distorted passing sounds, it would take an innumerable amount of recordings to piece it all together. So the Foundation could potentially convince it to stop, but they would have to sacrifice an unknown massive amounts of souls to it to do so.

I kinda suspect that the author of cousin Johnny has never been to either a Roman Catholic or Anglican baptism, because the child is never submerged in water during the service, instead water is poured on them from a shell. Submersion in child baptism is strictly a phenomenon of Orthodox and Eastern Catholic churches. Kinda breaks my ability to take the rest of this seriously as a piece of horror writing.

The cicada god only learns about church and shit peripherally. It cant get every detail exactly right. Ut probably sees a baby and water and is like "ok they put the water on it last time", so it just dunks it in. In the other video it explains the cicadia god is in a nothing void and he sees us through a static tv. Thats why is info is off a little bit and he doesnt understamd church uses metaphors. So its probably that or in "its" ritual it needs to sink the baby. Y'all better start praying to Mekhane. As far as im corncerned you church niggas are the same as sarkics and they get dealt with all the same. Come into the light and rebuild yourself in his image or else the flesh will consume every ounce of humanity, you believe its preserving. Leave the flesh behind and fix yourself to ascend
