Some part of me is just linking this to the Deer God, and the idea that rituals aren't important because of the steps, they're important because of the repetition. And repeating such massive things naturally creates this sort of motive force because why else would you repeat them unless it did something. And the Foundation has been repeating their own massive steps, over and over again, throughout not just this timeline but MANY. What else could that do but make a God of Containment. And what else would a God of Containment want than to sort all of reality and put everything into neatly labeled boxes. The idea of Admonition becoming a metanarrative across multiple timelines and worlds would certainly be interesting. And having the Foundation being a manifestation of this entity bootstrapping itself into existence is wonderful. The concepts of chaos and order being not separate forces, but just this ebb and flow of the same universal impulses.
