The clinical way the scp foundation go over their SCPs leave out all of the possible emotion that could be implemented, but the WWS keeping a profile open for Ringo because they liked him was really sweet and made me kind of sad
@readerforlife72922 жыл бұрын
In SCP articles emotion can usually only be shown through logs that have to report exactly what happens, which can include laughter, tears, yelling, etc. It makes emotions almost feel like a secret that you have to discover. It adds to the tension, in a way. I think that's part of why these Critter profiles are so good in the context of the SCP website, because it's like being able to openly discuss feelings in an environment that usually prohibits it.
@DargonVessle2 жыл бұрын
There’s an SCP that handles the foundation’s coldness with anomalies called “Yet another murder monster” I don’t remember the number but I think it’s a neat anomaly and while I don’t read the actual wiki, just watch videos on them, I think it’s worth a look
@spiderodoom2 жыл бұрын
@@DargonVessle I just read the article at your suggestion, it does actually break down 5031 in a way that allows compassion and sympathy for a monster. Maybe this is asking too much, but maybe a document that covers the updates to SCP enclosures would be nice. I remember reading 049 “the plague doctor” and being a bit sad for the scp, because he was forbade from practicing due to him “curing” a doctor. But I think 049, like a lot of other SCPs, could be made beneficial to society and the organization, with just the right enclosure and space to change.

And perhaps that part at the end where Daniel shows up was him banishing the things some how idk.

It’s nice to get some neat anomalous creatures cause all the stories about the end of the world were getting emotionally exhausting. Yes I do love scary SCPs and my favourite is 610 which is so brutally horrifying and certainly can lead to a end of the world scenario but I like that it keeps you guessing and evolving leaving you asking questions, letting your mind paint a picture of what these things look like based off the artwork shown in the document.

Dude, you are the best. Been watching more of your light hearted videos lately. Everything doesn't have to be an XK Class world ending scenario.

A lot of these seem to read like those posts or videos that zoos make about their animals. I love it. More of this, please. It's also just hilarious with the wobbles bit when they were "super mega serious" about making sure nobody reads the page, but compared to the lengths the Foundation goes through with these things, it comes across as adorable.
