Looks like an interesting spot for sure pal! A large diversity to play with, those ponies at the end were a nice surprise

@@DarrenJSpoonley thanks mate , it's still woodland so always tricky , horses were nice to see, they also have long horn cattle and pigs roaming but never came across them on this occasion, thanks for the comment and watching 👀

Catching up on a backlog of videos after my holiday. Looks like a fantastic woodland to explore and photography, like Dave I was partial to the shot of the two trees at 10:18.

Really loved your shot at 10:17 Lee, looks like they're dancing. I've been around a few woodlands this year where there seems to have been quite a bit of felling going on, I presumed there must be some kind of desease which prompted it, perhaps it's as simple as allowing some light to hit the woodland floor though, beats my national tree virus crisis theory!! Good vid mate, looks a great place for a few visits.

Lol thanks mate , all the woodlands around me are just so dense really difficult to find any compositions but it's all good practice !

What an amazing location that looks mate, a really ethereal looking woodland. And what a very imposing 1st tree that looks. The mist filter really does add that soft look with the highlights, it's something iv considered getting for a while now for both landscape and street photography. Also a cracking looking tripod that, again something I'm looking into getting for longer trips away to keep my kit weight down.

Thanks mate, it is a great tree that one just the size and shape , its hard to shoot with anything other than a wide angle. The black mist filter works well in certain situations , mainly on brighter light sources like the highlights , works great on city lights and car trails and i believe although not tried it myself works well on waterfalls and smooths out skin in portraiture. The tripod is very compact and lightweight but that comes with the trade off a less stable , but for the vlogging camera its perfect really ! Thanks for the comment , but its the newer video you are referring to lol ! Take care mate !

@@LeePelling Keep up the good work. I'm the same way. When I feel like making a video, I do. However, you always make good ones. I've been a follower almost since you began making videos.

Looks a grand woodland to explore Lee and you caught some lovely light on occasions- always a tricky genre but at least you can take your time to explore and as you say mark the waypoints on your Garmin. I like to find a clearing which helps to declutter the scene and maybe you’re right with attempts at doing that to boost the ecosystem. Watching on the phone so not sure what species the tree was but I use Google Gemini to help identify trees flora and fauna . Anyway all the best and an enjoyable film with some lovely characterful trees 🌳👍🏻

@@AndrewHamiltonPhotography Thanks mate, just have not had much time lately but nice to find somewhere new locally. Not the best images but a nice walk around the woodland early morning is always enjoyable. I will have a try with that Gemini next time I'm out. Hope your well mate.
