EXPLORING TRAIN MOUNTAIN with a TRAIN! - Scrap Mechanic Gameplay

Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Gameplay! Today we take a look at another custom tile. This is a heavily modified version of the extra large mountain tile in the game, fit with a set of train tracks traveling all the way up the mountain with bridges and tunnels and even a small lake to add to the scenic journey. Thank's for presenting my my new tile! I am planning a cable car (Standseilbahn in German) to go up this mountain. There will be two wagons which will intersect in the middle where the two parallel rails are. So in order to get along the swich you need the guide wheels on your train to be *only* on one side of the track, but on this side you hvae to guide that single rail from *two* sides. Depending if you choose this guide wheels to be on the left or on the right side, the train is going left or right at the swich!

I hope Scrap Mechanic adds in train rail blocks. If they add in the rails instead of complete tracks it would allow users to make custom trains to fit their need.

This world does have a creation specifically for it, as well as a station.You should re check the author. With his train and station it works so amazingly, this is one of my favorite areas in my entire world.

Percussive engineering is a glorious thing. I would’ve had a system to raise the track-support-guide-pieces so it would make those turns. Maybe have them bound to the left and right keys, and it would raise the respective guide pieces.

The split in the middle of the tracks is there because its meant to be a funicular, which are on cables intersect each themselves in the middle of the track

Multiplayer Monday idea: passenger train challenge You have to make a train that carries passengers and report it to the color coded train stations and the people will light up with the color for the station they want to go to and person with the most passengers at the correct station in the lowest time wins (How many mistakes with passengers at the wrong station adds 1 second)
