Thanks for the video Steve. I was in Villamartin but only saw the plaza and had something to eat in the bicycle cafe. Great spot lots of different nationalities especially Saturday and Sunday mornings . The bike looks great. Looks like a handy way to get about. I have to go back on some of your videos so talk soon 😁👍

Great video , loved the drone shots , we fly over this week to our place in La Florida, we love Villamartin. We have just bought some bikes how safe is it to leave them when you go to the beach , or to the supermarket or shops we have bought a lock same as yours so hopefully they will be safe once they are locked up. 👍👍

Thank you 😊. Yes, if you have a good quality lock, secure the lock around a fixed part of the bike to something secure and in a place where there are plenty of people! I'm now very careful 👍

I cycle all over Spain & most of the time don't worry, but in big cities & on the coast l lock up my bike, then l lock the front wheel to the frame then l take my seat with me. You might laugh but if l was in Barcelona or Malaga right now it'd take me less than 5 mins to find a locked up seatless bike. 😁

Hi Steve, I found that interesting.... For sure ya wee bike is sexy 🍀 I understand your new to the area.... but I've been looking for a back way to get to El Capitán beach 🏖️. I'm coming from Rojales and I try to avoid N332 as much as possible. I drive past the front of Torrevieja hospital and then end up on N332 from there on. I know how to get to le zenia boulevard, cutting through Los altos, which is quicker ... I am sure you must be able to get to cabo roig roundabout, avoiding the N332. We have tried a few times going home, but got lost 😅 ended up in Villa Martin and San Miguel which I recognised on this video 😅. Any ideas? We will keep on trying as we love that small cove.

Hello there Steve, You mentioned you are in your new home around six weeks now :) congratulations btw. I’m also from NI and my question is when will you be applying for your residency to live in Spain as you are still under the 90 day rule, I Know health insurance is needed at the time of application and bank details of the amount needed to be there as an Irish/EU citizen. But hope when you go through this stage you will bring us with you in knowledge only, Been watching you from before you set off from beautiful NI. 😊You are almost there having your NIE number to buy your home and car if needed just waiting on your last stage.🎉

Yeah I'll be covering everything as it happens. I have sex months to apply for residency which I will be sorting our around November. Also, my car insurance only covers me for six months in Europe so I'll be getting it re-registered at that time too. 😊

@@TheRamblingIrishman Steve can you please have a wee look at this again, I am very sure after the 90 day (3 month) you must get your residency certificate or return to your home country. I’m only saying this because you mentioned 6months and you would look into it come November but you can be sent back for not applying either before or day after the 90 days. Just a wee hands up, I had another look and twice read the same thing three months from the day you arrived in the country (Spain) you can update me :) been down your way many’s the time beautiful area good luck and the bike is fantastic:)

I would certainly do that!! as mishho9831 is correct...you must leave the country after 90 days if you are not an EU citizen, and can only return again 90 days later....I think they could deport you otherwise, it doesn't matter if you own property or not.

Is Bike heavy as my Apartment is up a large flight of Stairs, and i am in Late 60.s, as might upgrade as will be doing a bit more cycling but present Bike only about 20 k range , Where the Helmet a compulsory item for me Thank for another fantastic video 😊😊

Hi, it's great that my videos help! The question of loneliness is a difficult. We are all different. I've never beenarried, I've no kids and always enjoyed being a single person and never had a problem when not dating. I would say that the one thing that is very important is that you get involved in activities and hobbies. I keep myself fairly busy and it keeps any loneliness at bay. I hope this is of some help. 👍
