Exactly! The cord is long enough that you get to see that flash of light move at thousands of feet per second before there's that giant blast and shockwave that looks slow in comparison... I also love how the thing lining the ceiling vibrates like that. It just looks and sounds insane! Idk if I would ever want such a job but at least the blasting part is cool lol

It’s not det cord. Actually Shock Tube (Nonel). The visible flash of Shock Tube is much slower and does not vaporize violently like det cord. Det cord (such as Cordex) is fatal at close range -such as close to these men.
