I heard this song once and fell instantly in love. It reminds me of this girl, that used live nearby when I was about four years old and she was about the same age. We used to play and ride bikes pretty much everyday, but then her parents decided to move away. She didn't move all that far away, but I haven't seen her since. I think she even was in the same school for a while few years ago. Bunch of other memories came up too. Love it.

Wow. Wow. wow. At the 5:16 mark, I legitimately couldnt stop crying until the end. Just makes me think of how the beautiful moments of life can be etched forever in photographs, and makes me appreciate even more my own "postcard from the past", a photo of me and my grandfather after I caught my first ever fish at the same time as he got one. He passed less than a year later, but It was one of the proudest moments of my life, and I vividly remember it being taken. This song makes me cherish life.

Explaining the video by itself, it means Postcards in the best way possible. Postcard means memory, and the video shows some memories of 1952. The kids at the sprinkle, playing around in the garden, the girl walking happy, the kids at anniversary, the girl trying to get the bubble, the adults laughting, the couple young and older kissing, everything is managed in a perfect way in this video. The directors, the acting, the perfomance, everything is perfect.

i don't really know what and how to say abt this one, i think that's what makes it beautiful, post rock itself doesn't need any words to explain what's really going on, it just connects with our feelings and we are the creators of our own stories, either it is sad or happy or both or anything, that's what post rock is all about, i mean songs with vocals are great but it just lacks of sincerity and honesty, like we are afraid to express what we truly feel at the moment, and fake it with someone's else voices rather than our own, post rock music makes everything valuable and exquisite.

This is why I love instrumental music. Without the distraction of lyrics, you are given the chance to think of anything and everything in life. Some will cry, some will smile. Some may say that this gives them the will to carry on, or believe in love, or something else beautiful. Some may say instrumental music is meaningless because it has no lyrics, but I would say this song speaks so much more to me than any other song I have heard in my life.
