I once dated a guy at our place of employment. We were in sales. I had a lucrative deal going on over the phone but I needed a question answered to close the deal. My sales manager (who looked like George of the Jungle) was standing in front of me with his back to me. The only way I could get his attention to ask him a question was to tap him on the arm. The guy I was dating who was sitting next to me was furious at me. He flew into a jealous rage later that day accusing me of touching the manager's arm. I was never hit or slapped over it, it would have been the end if he had, but apparently, to some guys, a mere tap on another man's shoulder is equivalent to cheating. He acted as if I must have gotten some kind of thrill out of it, which I did not. It was ridiculous to me but apparently some men have meltdowns over things like that. Physical violence like Emhoff is accused of is on another level and should not be tolerated or rewarded.
