as someone who plays football and soccer if ur trying to get better change of direction i would do hip twisting with cones start of slow and progressively get faster and get better fast twitch muscles

changing direction is more agility than explosiveness. to get better agility you do things like ladder drills, cone drills, or really anything that you have to move your feet fast like side shuffles
