Thanks for the English subtitles! Very cool engineering

does anyone know what this kind of racing is called, so i can look up more of it?

I think it falls under mini-4WD RC. Saw a really good (english) video on the concepts last year, but I couldn’t find the link.

@@MindCrime550 "ルール無用JCJC" (rule outed JapanCupJuniorCourse) As someone told, this is based on Mini4WD. Basicaly, Mini4WD official regulation is restrected(use only Tamiya products/Mabuchi motor, with size cap).

This thing is scary fast! And the engineering behind it is extremely impressive! Very very good work
Congratulations all the way from North Carolina! Good work! I am always impressed by your dedication. I also enjoy your style of humor. I hope the translation of this text is good. Thanks!
Watching from the USA… I’ve never seen this sport before, and it’s amazing! Great work!

The sheer Japanese-ness of this video is astonishing. One man in a workshop precision engineering. Caligraphy from grandma. Protagonist is concerned about privacy enough that he's wearing his YT avatar as a mask in a public competition. Pit girls in maid outfit cosplay. Sponsored by a precision bearing manufacturer. Various anime tropes used as special FX. Other competitors are clearly all oddball nerds. Young girl voice synthesis for the voiceover. Amazing, I love it.

Well done on winning the nsk award! I love your channel. Keep up the great work. Nsk are my favourite bearing. You should also investigate timken bearings, they are also very good
Slot car racing used to be all the rage in the 1950' 60's 70's United States. I remember my parents buying me a set one year for Christmas, it was a lot different than the ones showed in this video, essentially a matchbox car designed for slots
Really fun video! :D I had a thought that maybe "Monolith BLESS" could benefit from front scoop aerodynamics like an F1 car. If you would flip the front lip the other way around (just the lip, not the hinged scoop), therefore passing most of the air below the minicar on the front. I would assume this would cause more uniform downforce across the minicar as it tends to roll forwards, probably because the front is sucked into the ground while the back is pushed up due to all the intake air. also possibly cause less friction when propelled forwards allowing for higher top speed. Maybe an additional modification to the back spoiler would be required to allow for a more hermetic seal on the back, so most of the air will come from the front. I imagine the current setup causes very high turbulence on the back thus increasing drag and hindering the force of pushing forward.

I wonder how much the torque of your fan motor's sudden acceleration is twisting your machine in flight.
