I can only assume that Hbot will never be the preferred way of treating conditions, because this would pharma out of business. Its about creating new markets and money......treating ppl today is no longer a priority. Sadly.....especially in the United States.

Excellent talk, the broader medical community in the USA continues to view HBOT w considerable skepticism; Shai’s work will hopefully change that
@ex0gen

Burton Lee, yeah, I hope so. With the science of stem cells and how his work connects with that, as well as the microbiological details, the benefits of HBOT are now able to be empirically shown in a way that one can no longer dismiss. That's a great thing.

I don't think the HBOT skepticism in the US is across the board. HBOT for wound care, for example, is well established in this country. It's the skepticism toward neurological applications of HBOT in particular that Efrati, et al. is helping to change with well-designed studies and bold, cutting-edge clinics.

@Tony Camaj Actually its got nothing to do with economics. There is nothing "free" on this Planet, never has been. There is no such thing as 'something for nothing. That's what Physics, always said. @jefflittle8913
@jefflittle8913 3 жыл бұрын
Causing your wounds to work on healing themselves is not the same thing as removing the wounds. If you get your body to fix itself but still have the underlying cause, then you can hope for a reduction in symptoms and slowdown of the problem. If the underlying problem is vascular, then maybe you can hope for a reversal. If the underlying problem involves gene damage/change of expression or other permanent damage, then expectations should be more muted (although recent research suggests that gene expression can be altered by environmental conditions as well). At least that's my take as someone who has been following stuff like this as a strong layman.

The home units do make a difference and they are about $5k. Combine it w a keto diet (high fat) for great benefits to many health conditions - hyperbaric can also heal diabetic foot ulcers and infections in the body. And more. Oxygen - major healer! And you don’t have to cycle the oxygen like he is doing to get results. He is experimenting.
@collinh5233
@collinh5233 2 жыл бұрын
Hardly any studies have been done with home units (mild chambers)...and you certainly wouldn't use those with diabetic foot ulcers or serious infection...those serious conditions need hard chambers utilizing more pressure and oxygen. Cycling the oxygen levels is theorized to optimize the regenerative mechanisms.

@Tony Camaj The use of air breaks during the HBOT treatment process. Watch this video again and pay close attention to Hyperoxic/Hypoxic Paradox section...
@collinh5233
@collinh5233 2 жыл бұрын
@Tony Camaj No, air breaks are done during the actual HBOT treatment itself...it’s typically a 5 minute break from breathing the 100% oxygen. I’m not sure if the practice would be of any use with the lesser pressures of a mild chamber...and only possibly would be if supplemental oxygen is also part of your standard protocol.

@Tony Camaj Cancer. Keto to stress the cancer cells and then ROS from the HBOT to push it over the top. Standard of care is all about stressing the cells, but unfortunately SoC stresses all you cells. Try to be selective by what you choose to protect your "normal" cells and push the cancer cells over the top.
