Vote with your wallets or purses. You don't have to fund the BBC if you decide not to watch Any Live Broadcast TV Programs at all. We, in our household, have been legitimately license free since we took the decision in 2013/4. The reason for this was that we came to the view that we no longer wished to pay for a broadcaster to lie to us. [This was apropos the Independence referendum campaign coverage in Scotland]. Just the other day we received a letter from TV Licensing as our latest two year "no license required" notice had expired and they must hear from us by..... you know the drill. Catch-up TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime are all legitimately viewable along with KZbin. Our local MSP was able to confirm that we do not need a license to watch live-streams of Scottish or Westminster Parliamentary debates. If you don't like what the BBC spouts then it's a big decision to defund them, but is it worth paying a corrupt "Public Service Broadcaster" organization just to watch a load of other biased broadcasters?

We quit the BBC years ago. We check out alternatives, cancelled our DD licence payment and never watched the BBC again! There is a whole world of television, films, TV series, and many catch up programmes are still free to watch without a licence e.g. catch up programmes on services other than BBC iPlayer, such as ITVX, All4 and My5. On demand films or TV shows that you watch, rent or buy online from providers like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky, BT TV, Sky, Apple TV+, Disney+ or Now. SC4 programmes on demand. And don't forget KZbin. 1,000s of free to watch films, plays, dramas
