I was in Israel/ west bank september-October of 2023 (including October 7th) and even as Americans, most Israelis were nasty to us. The average Israeli hates foreigners by what i experienced. The only exceptions are those who work in hospitality and the car rentals. The military is indifferent, just ignores you or pretends they don't speak English. In the checkpoint into Jerusalem from the West Bank, we interacted with the soldiers in an official capacity and the one solder we spoke to was nasty. I can't imagine how life is for palestinians.
