It reminds me of a serial killer in a movie I watched. He feeds women to death and places gambles online about how much they'll weigh when they die. While he is sexually attracted to the women and the act of feeding (despite being a hunk himself), he just enjoys the control even more.
@punkybrewstar833 жыл бұрын
@@doodledude8190 The control is exactly it. As John was saying- something happened in childhood to make them feel a lack of control and a huge fear of abandonment. Huge women (and men) can't go anywhere, and they rely on the assistance of somebody else to do a lot of things and even financially rely on the other person sometimes. Although often the gainer will be a cam girl or be receiving disability, and is the income for them both. Often the feeder will leave if their partner loses weight and try to sabotage any potential effort to do so. I think a kink stops being okay when it puts one partner's life in danger. It's especially important to consider that the "fed" partner is usually a woman, and obesity is often linked to mental health issues, so it might very well be taking advantage of a person who feels that is the only way they can be loved.

i knew someone who had an interest in feederism and honestly they used to post about how unhappy they were with their body. they were still somewhat fat themself and they would say all the time about how their body held most of its fat on their hips, butt, and thighs and the community seemed to prefer large tums more than anything else. they would always feel bad about how they had.. i would say a reasonably proportioned abdomen for how their upper body fat was held. because they saw that bigger stomachs were more ideal. honestly i felt bad for them that they were interested in making their body a fetish but then were self conscious about how people into that wouldnt like theirs.. they were a decent person. been through a lot in life. had poor food security for long periods and dangerous relatives. but they sure didnt deserve to be given image issues over a fetish.

Even so, happiness is rather hard to measure without legitimately being able to read minds. Like are they just going off what they say? Like, "yeah I'm fucking massively obese, and I'm happy", and then the scientist or whatever is just like, "good enough for me" or something. Seems to me like they're just kind of playing into the "Jolly fat guy" trope. Oh, Jerry? He’s a well-known feeder. While he was dating Tammy he was also married and had children and grandchildren, which we all know (most likely) but what some don’t know is Jerry’s wife was morbidly obese and not only bed-bound but in the hospital with severe medical issues. Jerry met his wife in the same place he met Tammy, on a dating site where men could find BBW (Big Beautiful Women). Jerry has alleged that he loves bigger girls, and he loves to see them eat. This might seem strange, as he is a very tall, thin, and even somewhat *lean* looking man who is surprisingly youthful for being in his later forties, but when you take into account his...interests it’s an obvious conclusion. His relationships are typical of a Feeder, wherein he is thin & healthy but his partner is extremely overweight, even sometimes to the point of morbid obesity. Jerry isn’t so much an enabler, as a _pusher_ as he pushes Tammy to gain weight, will make exorbitantly large portions of food for ‘both’ of them and eat little to none while pushing the food off to Tammy who obviously indulges and gains weight. It’s very sad, I was initially Pro-Jerry as he resembles my grandfather, but I can’t continue to support such a person regardless of how entitled each and every person is to their own fetishes and kinks as long as they’re consensual and between adults.

I get what you’re saying but there is a difference between the body positive community and feederism. Feeders might disagree but the body positive community tends to be insulted by the feeder community
@AuralayKristine3 жыл бұрын
@@huu5807 That's very true, feederism is a fetish in a big way. Body positivity was originally meant to be for people with scars/deformities that they couldn't help. It got a bit coopted by the fat community, but even then it was originally intended to be a "love the body you're in" not a "the body you're in is healthy." I agree that losing weight sustainably needs to come from a place of self love, not self hatred, so in that way, the body positivity community is supportive and helpful--you love your body enough to want to do the work to make it healthier, but you're still valuing yourself as a human being at any size--but the fat activism has taken that sentiment and turned it into "you are healthy and fat is not dangerous and obesity is fine because bodies are just different." So it's kind of a more nuanced situation than that. Interestingly I don't think feeders are in any way claiming obesity is healthy. At least some of the communities I've seen certainly aren't. They know it's dangerous, but they don't care. Frankly I'd prefer that over the narrative that "obesity is healthy" -- at least they're owning up to the dangers of what they're doing.

In all the years that I’ve used Tinder, I’ve had 2 feeders approach me and they are terrifying. It’s honestly one of the sickest forms of controlling behavior.
@cthulhupriestess3 жыл бұрын
Just Curious, how do they begin the approach? Is it like, hey want to go eat a bucket of wings with me?
@slippypippy3 жыл бұрын
@@cthulhupriestess The first one I talked to for only a few lines of text. I was almost 400 lbs at the time, and I didn’t try to hide it online. He was into it, started giving me compliments about my body being soft and whatnot. Then after I said thank you or whatever he started asking me if I wanted to get bigger and how he could help with that, would I like to be full, how much can I eat, can we have sex after you eat, do you like incorporating food items into the bedroom. I never answered him after that. The second one started off normal, nothing seemed strange about him and we talked for about 2 weeks. I was out of town at the time so we couldn’t meet up, but we had plans. One evening while we’re talking about the usual stuff like what are you doing, how was your day, blah blah, he says that’s he watching My 600 lb Life. I like the show so I talked about it a bit, and how sad it was, their poor families. He agrees, but then he says that he could see himself taking care of a girlfriend that ate herself into immobility. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt so I didn’t stop him. He could see why some of the husbands weren’t supportive, because maybe they like big women that are fat and happy at home, he would like to cook for someone or order food for them while he’s at work. I bring up the fact that immobility kills you eventually, and he said that’s part of the thrill. The immobility makes you dependent on someone else, and someone else has to serve you. I weighed around 230 while I’m talking to this guy, and I make it clear that I’m not interested in that at all and that we should end the conversation now. He says he’s just joking, but that he wanted to choose what I eat, make it for me, and watch me eat. I never answered him after that. Both of these were years ago so I don’t remember more details than that.

Can someone please explain to these people that deliberately crippling yourself for sexual pleasure (even your own) is a very VERY bad idea? A feeder is an abuser, plain and simple. How people are willing to cut their lives short for this, I will never understand. Sure, it's a choice, but if you are willing to put yourself through that for any reason, you don't need a partner, you need a good therapist and some nice people around with your best interest in mind, I mean that in the best way possible. This shit is scary.
@deathtothesystem3 жыл бұрын
You asked the question and then nailed it. Feeders are abusers. They find insecure people, usually heavy people who struggled with their weight and their body and they love bomb them. They "worship" the body that's been such a point of pain and struggle and they say, it's perfect, you're perfect. All those things you've been trying to stop, you can do all that and more. And the eater is so thirsty for that love and attention and validation, it gets toxic fast. And once they're fat, the feeder has complete control. Because self-worth is tied to that love bombing. Their mobility is compromised. Their ability to find another partner is compromised. 100% it's abusive and controlling behavior

Video 1: oh yeah this advice is good for underweight people who are trying to get to a healthy weight. Video 2: ... That took a twist
@Haghenveien3 жыл бұрын
Only that video 1 is not good advide for underweight people trying to gain weight either. At certain moment I was underweight for medical reasons (no anorexia) and really wanted to gain weight so I was pretty much doing the things that video 1 says, and I did gain weight but it wasn't healthy. For example, I was very sedentary and I avoided exercise like the pest, what happended is that I became extreamly deconditioned. The thing is that when you gain weight but it's all fat and no muscle you simply don't have the strenght to move that around. Yes my weight was "normal" but I couldn't do the same things a regular person with that weight can do without problem.
@johanakolarova3 жыл бұрын
@@Haghenveien Exactly, I thought about that too. But gaining healthy weight is something entirely different from what the videos are suggesting. This is sickening.
@sim7713 жыл бұрын
@@Haghenveien okay so you have one perspective, but that's not everything. You're talking about being deconditioned, sure but people can be underweight for many different reasons. Ex: if the person is underweight because they have mental health struggles like depression and struggle with basic tasks, any calories they can put into their body to stay alive is better than being underfed because they are trying to do something "right". Fat, muscle, doesn't matter when you are trying to survive mentally. Eating food that's unhealthy but satisfying, easy to prepare or high in calories is enough. They can worry about their physique later. Experiences aren't universal, so apply one persons experiences as a rule is just not right
@Haghenveien3 жыл бұрын
@@sim771 I agree with the importance of putting on the calories, they're very much needed no matter where they come from. Sometimes you don't have the luxury of being picky. But if you have mood disorders like anxiety or depression eating healthy and having some physical activity it's known to help. And that's what it's usually recommended by professionals. It's not about doing things perfect, you don't have to make three homemade meals every day and lift weights at the gym but if you can include some more healthy options (they don't have to homemade) and do some light exercise (as far it's possible and recommend by a doctor), that's something. Please keep in mind that exercise routines can and should be adapted, for example you can exercise while sitting on a chair if you can't stand up.

As the owner of 2 Maine Coon mixes, there's literally no such thing as a short haired Maine coon. Fluffiness comes with the breed, and even in cats that are half Maine coon, they're gonna be medium to long haired cats. It's a dominant trait. They can be average sized cats if they're mixed with a domestic short hair tabby like mine are, but it's pretty much a guarantee they're gonna have long hair with sort of a unique layering to it and bushy tails. On top of being an abuser, that guy is also a plain and simple scam artist, trying to get money for breeding what's most likely just a morbidly obese regular domestic short hair tabby with a purebred Maine coon. I understand getting fat "by accident". You know, the normal way where people don't think about their weight and stop caring and don't realise until it's too late. The usual Freshman 20 or when a new couple get together and both have loads of fun and then, 2 years later, notice they gained 30 lbs. Normal ways people accidentally get fat. The idea of wanting to be obese though, that's beyond me. I notice if slack a little and "enjoy life" and end up gaining 20 lbs, I will think "AH CRAP!" and get my weight down again. I have a weight range that I allow for myself (190-220 lbs, I am 6'2 so that's abs to fluffy), but higher than that and I feel awful. I couldn't imagine wanting to be 300, even 400 lbs. I know a few strongmen/powerlifters who are over 350 lbs. Yes, they are insanely strong (some even have high endurance) but they move like everything they do is an effort. Wanting to be like that is just crazy to me. Knowing that if there was a pill that you could take and be your ideal weight, that some people would choose to be 500+ lbs, it's mental. Just sitting and eating all day. Not being able to see your genitals, or wipe your own butt, or wash between your back rolls... It's honestly a nightmare.

I still struggle with food and my thoughts surrounding it. Some fetishes deserve to be shamed. I have lost so much to someone because they took advantage of my weakness. Feederism is not love, it's watching your "creation" die.

Jeezus. This is so upsetting. When I was in my 20’s I went from a bit chubby to a very heavy woman and actually got fatter when I was married to a man who liked me better the plumper I got. He’d bring me donuts, king size snicker bars, fast food. Ugh. There is a french quote I read once saying “never marry a man who wants you to be his pillow” There are so many mental issues going on with chubby chasers and feeders. I finally left him,but my body issues just exacerbated from then on. I was suspicious of every man that was attracted to me after that. Thankfully, I’ve finally got my weight and health under control and am married to a wonderful guy who’s loved me and supported me through my health and fitness journey.

"I'm not trying to kink shame..." You are too nice. (Not that that's a bad thing AT ALL.) I get that kinks aren't necessarily something you can help. But this kind of rides that line between "oh, it's just a kink" and unhealthy. This video was hard to watch, as I'm trying SO hard to lose weight and NOT look like that. You explained exactly why it was hard for me to watch. It glorifies being overweight, and doesn't talk about the dangers/difficulties of living that kind of lifestyle.

Seeing or even hearing about the "feeding" kink gives me such anxiety! As a fat girl myself, losing weight (almost lost 100lbs, starting from close to 300, now down to 200), I would hate to date or be in a relationship with this type of person cause it comes and stems from a power of control. Most "feeders" actually, when interviewed, say they have fantasies about S&M and things similar. The idea of being controlled in that way scares me to no end. Don't get me wrong, I like a dom partner and prefer it but not to that point and to the point where they think, "I can control this person by changing their body shape and crush their self esteem, making them depend on me all the time"

Yep. Really uncool to use pics of fat people desperately trying to change their lives as inspo.

I’ve seen all the food tips in the first vid before in a positive context as I used to work on a cancer ward. Cancer treatment is very arduous and the pounds drop off also u don’t feel like eating so it’s very difficult if you were lighter to begin with. Our dieticians used to help patients with weigh gain. It did feel like opposite land though as I was alway trying to loose!

Maybe I'm close minded, but to me this is soooo bizarre and sick, it reminds me of anorexia fetishists. I don't think it's a fetish anymore tbh, it's more of a paraphilia.
