I think I understand why he put her to that test. We do not know everything about the relationship past and present. If you truly love someone and want to be with them it shouldn't matter how nice the house is when you have each other so I get it and I agree with what he did. I think that it was a wise choice on Bilal’s decision not to let his so called “test” go any longer than he did. I will add this: Often depending on the state one can pay past due or late taxes on a property they do not own for a few years because at some point you can claim you are the owner and the tax payments validate you as the owner. That forces the real owner to have to fight you in court to regain ownership. This is a very popular for people to own homes they could never afford. Reason: if the home is paid up in mortgage payments you only have to begin there so if the home is half paid off already you just finish or re finance. He could very well have done this before graduation. The tele is full of real estate programs and informercials on how to do this....full of them. This works best if you know someone is in prison or has been deported.

I think it's ok that we desire to be with someone who can financially support us. Honestly I think there would be a lot less children suffering if all women learned not to just settle. People love people for different reasons. I don't understand why people expect to be loved simply for being alive and breathing. I love my dad mainly because he worked hard and took care of our family single handedly, showing that he loved us. If he was a deadbeat and did nothing for us, I wouldn't love him, and no one would blame me. I love my bf because he is like my dad, works hard and is a good provider. If he was simply a bum hanging out on the street corner with no job I wouldn't love him as I wouldn't love his character or actions. Millions of people are funny and have good personalities. That doesn't mean they are all someone suitable to marry. There is nothing wrong with loving someone because they are able to provide well for you. After all, she left her country and family to move in with and marry him. Why would she love him if he moved her there to live in squalor? Love doesn't pay bills or allows you to live a decent life. Providing for your wife and family shows that you care about them and want them to live the best life possible. You don't have to be a millionaire to provide, but you should be a provider if you want a wife and family. Especially since she is a foreigner and CANNOT legally work for a certain period.

I found him very strange. In any case she was right about the Mosque on Fridays. Its mandatory for men but not women & the separation in spaces with typically different entrances is because for many reasons but in short is that we are there to pray & not to be eyeing each other up or distracted with the close proximity you see people moving in unison. The water scene was very odd. Yes its annoying but who talks to their significant other like that? I was willing her to run back home. Guess she didn't!
