Hey Muckers, I think nowadays people want things to be black and white on the internet. When in fact most things in life are shades of grey and have nuance/context that needs to be considered. I’ve always liked the fact that Adam isn’t afraid to update his opinions when new information is revealed. Personally I think it takes some integrity to be like “with the information I had at the time that used to be my opinion but in light of other info my opinion has changed.” I think evolving opinions when facts are presented is soooooo important. It’s a part of media literacy that I feel like we are missing now. Applying knowledge and changing opinions when facts are presented is a critical skill. Yeah a lot of Soggy's takes on Jake, particularly at the start of the video, were just-- clearly coming from a victim blaming/ denying mentality and there were legit things that were said that made me have to stop.watching it for a good few minutes. You can never fully eliminate bias from anything, but genuinely: soggy did not even TRY to tone his down, and his arguements (which had some actual, good, legit points to make) all ended up suffering BADLY as a result. KZbin journalism at its finest, people.

I 100% find Mr Beast sketchy as hell, actually, beyond sketchy. He has 0% transparency, he only shows a controlled image, and I don’t believe any person that throws around that much money could be ethical. Of all the videos I’ve watched about crypto scammers, they do a lot of this ‘playing dumb’ act when confronted or have their lawyers go ‘shh’. About what Adam said at the beginning of the video: people need to realize that Mr Beast should be held accountable, yes. But for things that he DID. Which are TERRIBLE. And not for things that he didn’t do. That is all. Soggy’s video just showed the things that should not be taken into consideration. It did not in any way make anyone think Beast is innocent of all accusations. That video, in the end, is more about Dogpack than Mr Beast himself; and taking Dogpack accountable does not mean forgiving all of Beast’s mistakes (and crimes). Period.

The rest continues to be completely right, Dogpack is still shown to be not reliable and at the top Mr Beast still clearly is not innocent at all of all of his crimes. As I said: its not because DogPack is bad that Mr Beast is good. Both are bad, there are real victims we should be listening to instead of DP, and thats what we should take from the video.

If im being 100% honest my problem was less like. "Oh no he slander dogpack!! He proove dogpack lie!!!" Cuz admittedly, I've never fully trusted the guy. I didn't really have a problem with the fact that you (or anyone) is reacting to this obvious mr beast shill (Soggy) because it's important to get news from different sources and viewpoints when you can. My problem was more with things soggy said and did that just rubbed me wrong (bad enough i had to put the video aside to process feelings for a hot minute before i finished it), and while ultimately, i think much of what he's said is most likely legit, it does not make me confident about the future of this issue with mr beast, and how news and journalism is going to be working going forward. Cuz like. The day a KZbin video essay about drama is as reliable a source as a NYT article on the same thing, we are doomed as a society. I guarantee most people on this planet do not know the full and complete journalistic ethics standards and that is a problem if anyone can pick up a mic and camera and claim to be a legit one. Im tired and american and seeing too much bs in my own country's news outlets and im probably not wording this the best, but my point still stands. I agree soggy probably be telling the truth here, dogpack has been being shady and you need ro call that shit out when you see it. @@violetsden I agree, there's certain youtubers like swoop who do a good job at sticking to journalistic ethics codes and I think that's fantastic and makes their content better. My gripe comes more from the fact that KZbin isn't a newspaper. There's not much in the way of journalistic ethics code enforcement outside of the individual content creator themself, which makes everything on here fundamentally flawed as journalism. At best you could call KZbin drama channels tabloids or celebrity gossip magazines-- and I do not mean this in a derogatory way. I think gossip and tabloid shit (at least for KZbin) is important and serves an important role in how the internet works socially and shit. But it's not *journalism*, it's just content. And like swoop always says "it's not drama, it's dangerous"

This is why I enjoy your content, thank you for continuing to be honest about your feelings about situations but also taking time to understand that there will always be more that comes out that will most likely change your opinion on a certain aspects of a situation. While Mr. Beast is certainly not a great person, dog pack lying has taken away his credibility and has the potential for Mr. Beast to not face as much scrutiny as necessary. My takeaway from Soggy's video was, "oh, so DogPack is a wannabe J*hnny. Just another scorned fanboy who lied his way into speaking over actual victims for the sake of pettiness/profit. Glad to find that out sooner than later, I guess?" Even if Mr. Beast can say that those 5% of the allegations were proven false, the remaining 95% are worth holding him accountable for. What I DO take issue with in Soggy's video is how he took the opportunity to bundle some victim-blaming towards Jake Weddle with everything else. And like, you did say that his video wasn't perfect, so I'm not saying this as though it's new information for you... I'd just be remiss if I didn't point out that there's a huge pro-beast agenda interwoven throughout the video in the form of "if DogPack was lying, maybe we should doubt Jake Weddle's story, too!!1!" TLDR; based on my understanding from coffeezilla’s video, Logan Paul made this hatchimal crypto game. A bunch of people bought the crypto, yet it never launched. Biggest red flag for me was that they wanted to use this game to teach kids about crypto.
